#shorts
In this #blender3d video I will how easy the cloth brush in the sculpting menu is to use!

    If anyone’s trying it, make sure you reduce the cloth mass. Cloth mass = how heavy the cloth will be and in turn affect how visible the effect will be. You can find cloth mass on the right.

    @Chris Robin You might be subdividing too aggressively, my 3060 ti has no issues with subdivision in Maya, as long as my base meshes have balanced / optimized face area.

  • @tbuk8350

    @tbuk8350

    Жыл бұрын

    @chrisrobin4804 Yeah, it has to store everything it's rendering in VRAM. I use a 3060ti and I've done a 500x500m terrain square covered in scattered vegetation with a plane subdivided 368 times though, so it shouldn't be that bad unless you're trying to create a 16m poly mesh or some shit. It also could be that I have a shit ton of system memory, and Blender can cache an insane amount of data.

    For the mind of an imbecile, maybe. Physics is simple, physics are as complicated as 2+2=4. It's just our electronic computers trying to keep up with realtime physics that's the issue. Your brain is more powerful than any computer on earth. The CPU/GPU lives in perpetual envy of the hypothalamus. The reason physics can seem so intimidating is because we struggle to measure it, because typically we are observing the shadow of a phenomenon and but not the phenomenon it's self. Simple modern day interpretations such as the formula to find the area of a sphere based on its circumference took hundreds of years to get to the point where it evolved to something you could simply write on a piece of paper, but the physics never changed. 2+2 equaled 4 long before before our molten planet began to cool. It's not that physics is inherently complex, it's that we give ourselves far too much credit for our current technological achievements, we are essentially still apes banging rocks together.

    Prohibitively resource intensive if you're thinking of just dragging and dropping the super high poly sculpted mesh into a game engine. You can definitely use this to create a game ready asset, but you need to use decimation or quad drawing to create a low-poly version of the mesh to bake the normals to, and use *that* mesh in Unity.
