I think it should be compulsory at birth because there won't be problems where the other party may feel like they are not being trusted enough when their partners request DNA testing. Some end up requesting to be compensated (kuripwa) in the case that results come out positive. So compulsory DNA at birth root-out those issues. Also, that will not affect the child when it's done at infancy and there won't be twisted narratives like "your father once rejected you....". People can twist narratives like that. There won't be any emotional blackmailing....you will just know that it's a law that DNA should be done at birth
