This is a beautiful song for her adoptive mother, Irina. Diana biological father wasn’t around and he biological mother was very, horrifically cruel towards her. Her biological mother had multiple failed pregnancies (8-12). From my understanding her Bio mom wanted her dead! Sitting on her chest so she couldn’t breath, punching her, leaving her scars physically and emotionally and tried to drown her in a bathtub. The bio mom also used a lot of drugs and alchohol. When she was three years old she was abandoned at a bus stop with a broken collarbone in freezing (-30 Celsius). She was saved by a family member, but they didn’t want her (some couldn’t and others didn’t because she believed she was “retarted”) and left her had the orphanage. Irina was a masseuse who was specialized to take care of the children of the orphanage. There she met Diana, she was a scared wolfing who was distrustful of others and became to trust and love Irina. Irina already had two children, her daughter said “lets take her!” And so she was adopted between four and half and five years old. Irina is called by Diana her real mom. She started singing because of her speech difficulties because of the trauma, and a family friend who worked with her singing noticed the rare timbre and talent in her voice at five years old said she was meant to sing with her unique voice. Irina is always close by Diana. She is her director, producer, help with clothing and hair. Its really lovely to see 💕 ❤.

Yes 👍🏽 this is about DIANA being in the orphanage and her forever mother meeting her during her therapy sessions. Her adopted mother ERINA has been a huge support regarding Diana’s musical journey. She got Diana vocal lessons as per a physician’s recommendation because of her speech impediment due to the TRAUMA she experienced as a small child. Thanks for sharing this Original Song…i love it 🥰. Dian’s vocal range at 16 was expanding and Brandon Stone captured it in this Song. 🙋🏻‍♀️🎼❤️‍🔥🙌🏽

The sand animation of the song tells the story of Diana and her adoptive mother Irina. The "closest soul" is Irina. Whether the composer, Brandon Stone, was referring to Irina remains to be seen.

As I understand it, the bare bones of the song came from Diana - she asked Brandon if he could fashion a song out of her ideas, so yes, the song is about Irina.

Greetings from Scotland! This is a beautiful combination of Diana singing her original song "The Closest Soul" which is dedicated to her Mama Irina as a show of her love for her and to say how grateful she is that Irina rescued her from the orphanage, taking Diana into her own loving family home, nurturing her and encouraging her. Diana wrote some words and ideas down and took them to Brandon Stone to create the production. Between them they created this beautiful, emotional song! The sand illustration by Alexandra is depicting that time in Diana's sad but very inspirational childhood. The word written at the end is "Родная" pronounced as "Radnaya" and means "Native/Home/Own/Dear/Darling or Whole" in English. Basically - My own Soul, or Two souls connected by fate. I hope that helps, it's as close as I can get to an English equivalent.
