Great information and thank you for solving the mystery of the iphone TL. Totally disappointing not being linear. Without knowing I did a TL for 6 hours to capture the clouds .... video on the iphone is 24 seconds. Had I known this earlier, I would of used another option. Wasted 6 hours; my fault for not knowing.

I really wish they were 4k60 and not 1080p30. the only improvement Apple has made to timelapses in the past few years is low-light boosting, but otherwise nothing. I also wish there was more manual control, but there’s other apps for that so

can i get the last frame of the timelapse? then continue with normal video for slowing down effect?

i recorded a 57h timelapse on my iphone, got out to around 36 seconds

I’ve never used anything except normal and portrait photo sections. 😂

Although Casey Neistat used only iPhone (or Samsung) to do timelapse, I hate to use the native camera on iPhone. I'd prefer to use Moment Pro app for timelapse because I can control motion blur.

Its stupid what apple does because I missed alot of motion alot happend in the sky when I was recording it. Had my phone sat there for around 2 hours and ended up with a 34 sec garbage.

So big daddy Apple knows best and won't let user do its thing. They could have at least leave a pro mode or something as option.

I never use timelapse or slowmotion. Really never.

You mean they literally just take photos every 3 seconds?
