Greetings YEM viewers! Today, we have an exclusive interview with none other than “Julie and the Phantoms” star Charlie Gillespie. Charlie recently sat down with YEM to discuss his new role as Jason in the film “The Class”.
If you don't know yet, "The Class" is a coming-of-age film about a bunch of seniors in high school students who must spend their Saturday taking a test they either missed or failed. By day's end, the teens discover their ideals, betrayals, and acts of love within themselves and their peers.
YEM first asked Charlie about how he got into acting. Charlie gave us a lengthy backstory into what made him begin acting and his first experience on stage. We also asked Charlie what his secret was to remembering lines for his roles. Charlie gave a lot of great tips and tricks viewers might find handy in their day-to-day lives. Since "The Class" is loosely based on the 1980's classic hit film “The Breakfast Club”, we ask Charlie what it was like co-staring with “The Breakfast Club” star, Anthony Michael Hall. It was, according to Charlie, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. And of course, we couldn't help but get a little personal and ask Charlie what life is like in Canada!

I love that Charlie turns these types of 1 on 1 interviews interviews into just filmed conversations. Like the start really felt like he was interviewing her😂
I love the way Charlie thinks, and how he thinks deeply about things, he have such a deep beautiful mind. It's amazing to see the way he learn from everything, he turns even the little things into a lesson for life. Charlie have such a positive approach to life, it's truthly beautiful. I also love his excitement when he talks about nature or about experiences he had🧡 and really loved what he said about Julie and the Phantoms💜, even though i can still hear the pain in his voice beacuse of the cancelltion :'(. Truthly learned a few things from what has been said, Great interview 🥰
His adhd really shows in this interview. Love Charlie though and everything about him

@@AbigailOshie yes. In this interview around 7:15 when he is talking about hockey he says it kicks in. Plus my husband and sons have it so I know a lot of the signs. He also did a TikTok with a partial song from his journal about medication wearing off and they tell him to calm down.
