Percival Every year the kids look younger and younger. When I was a freshman the seniors looked like grown men, then every class that came after me looked younger and younger. People are aging slower I think, might be the food.

It’s so fcking weird how every decade has it’s own extremely distinctive vibe. I graduated in 2008 and this video just feels and looks like everything did back then. When I watch the 90’s videos, they look and feel like things did when I was a kid. It’s a trip.

I was a Freshman in HS in 2009 and this just shows how different kids were back then vs now. This was the final year of being fully present as a society. In 2010 the popularity of smart phones and social media began to take off and nothing has been the same since. (yes we had cell phones and Facebook in 2009 but 99% of peoples phones were only able to text, call and take pics).

It’s so true. I graduated high school in 2011 and attended college that fall. Socially, things were still very similar to this video from 2009 (it was just before the end). However, I had to leave college that same year due to health reasons, but later returned to finish in 2016. I could not believe the difference. No one spoke to or looked at each other. Everyone stayed glued to their phones. I still remember my math professor asking what happened to everyone because he said he could never get his classes from years before to shut up, and now he can never get them to talk. 😢

The Hollister clothing, the girls with fried hair from being straightened every day, the emo/scene kids, the jocks, the potheads, the dorks, the band geeks. My brother graduated in 2010 and I'm in my early twenties now, this is how I remember my brother,his friends and high schoolers in general. The fact that this is over a decade ago and that I am now on the other side of the fence really hit me hard with some perspective . Nostalgic for sure! Lol not gonna lie I've been way better. I lost my girlfriend my senior year and got super depressed, missed out on all of this because of the depression. I grew up though and got certified as an EMT and later a firefighter. I went on to direct an ambulance service, lived in Holland, been engaged twice never married, no kids, went back to school, now I'm looking at videos of the last day of highschool in 2009 wishing I could go back and experience it again but with more confidence and maybe the knowlege I have now. I still miss her but I think I've made her proud and my partner is absolutely wonderful.

@@williamholden7644 as someone who graduated class of 2019 as that’s recent to now and I have 2 siblings in HS rn here’s how schools are different Boys: almost all of them have skinny or slim fit jeans and a lot of them are faded and they can be ripped jeans as well Have fades in the sides or back, and on top they have curly/wavy hair altho some do have straight hair They have shirts that don’t look like u got them from Walmart Also they wear AirPods a lot more as a stylish thing Girls: Spaghetti straps are common, ripped skinny fades jeans are also common That’s all I can think of🤣 The main difference is the music style and Ofc ppl now have smartphones

Almost all the school stereotypes are gone! The 2000’s had the best stereotypes and now they’re 99% gone!

2009 where style was individual, not expensive and everyone was fine with it. I gonna miss these times man. The Internet have a tons of positive effects but so much negative tho... 2009 the 2010's started early it seemed. I graduated in 2009 and I remember it still felt like the 1990's until 9/11.. Middle school and high school it was all about Eminem and G-Unit lol.. By 2009 it was a new era. Obama became president social media was starting to become unavoidable and everyone getting smartphones. In 2004-2005 9th grade I remember we all still had walkman CD players and not everyone had a cell yet, most didn't. Now even 1st graders have cell phones it's ridiculous
