Hey peeps! Hope you all enjoy, as stated in the beginning, I’ve talked about most of this stuff in the past, as I’m a channel that discusses everything about the game 😂 ofcourse tho, not everyone has seen my videos and Ive really wanted to work on an iceberg for clash of clans for a while now. Some of you may have noticed I didn’t upload last week, my first time not uploading in a week in .. maybe years. I took a much needed break for a few days and worked on this Iceburg for the other, 9 days. I feel great after the small break, might do it a couple times a year to recover from the never ending grind :)

27:13 it was actually the housing space that was doubled from 1 to 2. I remember people breaking the housing space cap on their army camps by training all wall breakers before the update and then ending up with something silly like 400/200 troops in their army camps.

I think an honorable mention topic should be engineered bases. I don't think people do it anymore probably because its not viable anymore but when I was in my tryhard (2018-19?, honestly I can't remember) phase people would do th9.5 ,10.5 etc to try to get better matchups.

I remember there was a glitch where you could place defenses on top of each other and it would take up less space on your base.

The 5x training speed for Barbarians and Dragons was in reference to when Liam said that he was coming for his revenge with "lots of barbarians and dragons"

The “Wizard Hero” at 35:12 has feet that look similar to the ones you can see in the Clash Royale Champions trailer. One of the statues on the right side has feet with pointy tips like the one this troop has. Maybe a future clash royale champion will be inspired by this early troop.

The reason barbarians and dragons could be trained 5x faster was because in that superbowl commercial Liam neeson was talking about having revenge from the one that destroyed his base and one his dialogues were: I'm coming for you with lots of barbarians and dragons

i remember most of the stuff from "back in the day" but the newer stuff i dont really know as much about cuz i havnt played much till recently. kinda nice to go over alot of that stuff tho. lots of nostolgia :)

Oh man, I got hit with a wave of nostalgia when I heard those rearming trap sounds. I totally forgot about that noise. But the sounds of the gold mine and elixir collector are still the same.

That negative trophy thing isn't a lie. When I was a th7 (early days) I used to drop super low cause dead base - loot strategy. So since I was dropping to bronze III and so... I tried to see what happens if I went 0. So I did, but I had 17 trophies or so and I lost -19 and was at -2. After that every th7 I fought, I wouldn't lose any trophies , some rushed th8s wouldn't make me lose trophies but certain decent th8s would give me a -1. I think I pushed to -6 or -7 but it was ridiculous.. cause I was wasting insane amounts of time then looking for these th8s which were rare and losing opportunities on insane amounts of loot and it made no sense (I was stupid). But yea , negative trophies is true

I remember there was a bug with training troops in like 2018 were u can train any troop like 5 seconds. You just train a barbarian then replace it with dragon at last second it will train a dragon for you with 5 seconds This bug was huge and I used it for last bits of it 🤣 then they fixed it

I'm assuming the Baby Dragon was intended to be a Dark Elixir troop, but was changed later on in development to cost Elixir, and the death animation was never changed.

Ghost villages should have been in the iceberg. I remember that when you visit this people's called "Ghost villages" you see like a messed up layouts and buildings merging each other many people says villages like this are played by dead players which is probably a lie and the buildings was probably a bug or glitch. But I still remember being terrified as a kid of this and would never dare to visit that any type of this villages.

Great Video! It almost seems like my goodbye video to Clash of Clans. Don't really care for ANOTHER game mode. I fell like Supercell just cheated us on the main village. I've been maxed for months with nothing to do. Having to sell all of my gold pass magic items for gems😮‍💨. So thanks Havoc your one of my favorite content creators. Love the old school content you bring us. But it's time to move on. It's been a great 8 years for me. Keep up the good work brother✊️.

They're good for outright attack though do tend to go AWOL as they do not have a preferred target. I prefer golem + giants + healer as it's a more predictable combination, targetting weapons, with lvl1 troops in their wake, picking off the other buildings and resources. 10:07

Right Now If you look at the village scenery for winter with the winter maze, there is a barbarian stuck in the floor with Ice on his head inside the snowy maze which I believe is a reference to the shining when the main character dies in the end by being frozen inside the maze. I screenshot it just in case it ever got removed.

God, it feel so weird finding out that so many of the things that he mentioned I had experienced it when I played the game years ago and not touching it again were either changed or deleted.

Something that you didn't mention in the video and I think it's pretty interesting is that Tesla's used to do double damage to PEKKA'S. Overall you did a great job and even gave me some goosebumps 👍

It's been so long since I was TH7 that the section at 13:40 was the first I heard about TH7 actually *having* a drill. I thought it was still the same hilarious battle to get dark elixir as it used to be.

Just starting the video so he may have included it. But for a fun fact for you newer players, in year one, when they did the Christmas event and added a Santa clause spell, it actually did so much damage that you could kill the TH with it and not use any troops lol. Needless to say that got patched fast lmao

With some of the bases that have weird stuff going on with the buildings that could be left overs from the era when you could sell all buildings now the ones that have gob stones and poles i have no idea

35:48 about that My brother died in august of 2020 and his base is still in my friends list. We were in a clan in 2020 and when he died they put the clan description as a memory to him for about a month. I stopped playing untill late 2021, when I came back it was onlt the leader in the clan. Hus base still has 4 barracks and old designs since his base was from 2014. 2003-2020

35:48 me and my brother made a clan in early 2015, back then clan was full of active players. I stopped playing the game in 2016 and many of my clan mates passed away in last few years. I started playing the game again this year now I am not the clan leader anymore as I was inactive and supercell made the oldest active guy leader. The most depressing part is that this clan still have over 30 members and only 2 of them are active as of now, these 2 are grown-up kids and they basically don't want to leave the clan because their parent's accounts are still there and unfortunately they are no more, I had to leave the clan because everytime I scroll through the clan page it disappoints me alot cause I knew some of them in real life and watching their bases hits me hard and reminds me how we all used to talk, plan for war and now everything is gone it's just a graveyard. I asked those 2 players to come along with me because I know being in that clan was really depressing but they denied saying " it's all about memories bro 🙂" I respected their decision and left the clan to start a new one. Now I occasionally visit there.

Since the capital peak has been released the base development has slowed down a lot. Because builders are now busy in the forge (which is optional of course) but it is very beneficial for the clan is 1 or 2 builders are working on the forge constantly. So the update idea is a 7 builder!! yes people who don't use forges for capital gold then can abuse it with 7 builders in home base or 6 builders (otto not unlocked), for those people, this 7th builder has to be unlocked through a series of tasks and challenges that need to be done in the capital peak at a certain level for things just like the builder base otto unlocking tasks. Of course with a lot of changes and tweaks for it does not get boring for older players. I think another builder would be very helpful with balancing out the base developing times and also forging capital gold for the clan. Those who do not participate in the capital peak can of course not unlock this builder as it should be a HUGE grind just like the otto one. The idea for another builder is already there in the peak. The old guy with a huge beard The ancient builder!! It would honestly be amazing if this idea is implemented in a future update for this game. Really hope the devs find this comment.

You are making it into a thin stretched sheet where in it's Actually a sloppy mesh net to catch your credit or debit card more builders wouldn't push people to spend more on gems. Unless it's set up the way the builder base 6th is set up would encourage players to spend gems instead of wait for the guaranteed builder upgrade. At the end of the day both are ploys under the same banner unfortunately it's the way things are going these days.

Sadly I had a friend who killed himself and his base is a dead base, I even have check on it from time to time weirdly enough. I even looked today to see it doesn’t have a boat in the water as well, miss the guy like crazy

The reason why the baby dragon explodes into dark elixir maybe an Easter egg, because a few years ago there was a clash of clans post celebrating new resource being dark elixir and said it was produced by fossilized dragon bones
