I love how Karen jumped in to help Twinkie.

I sang under Dr. Mattie Moss-Clark for two summers at ages 16 and 17 with Twinkie on the Organ. What an honor she brought me out of my shyness. Thanks to her wonderful teachings and sacrifices. She didn't play about God and demanded that as singers, we were to always honor God. ❤❤❤❤

Amen my Sister the one and only Mother Clark used to come to our church in Oakland Ca. I was a teenager she came summer for our music youth workshops when she was in our area. Also I sang with them in the annual state convocation Memphis Tennessee. She was not joking about god. Taught three part harmony and she would throw her shoe at you if you were off key. Lol. I had the honor of singing with her and the Clark sisters many times before they became famous Her teachings helpped me to become a better vocalist Praise God for the Clark Sister's and bow they are paving the way foe us. 🕊 RIP Mother Mattie Moss Clark❤

The BGVs could benefit from matching the Clark Sisters sound... It's not about volume and density, but FINESSE. Everybody's putting in hard work though... It's great to see them still making an impact.

The too-present BGV, the not-watching or listening musicians, and the inattentive sound crew did and keep doing the Sisters a disservice. The fact that Karen had to start giving cues is a problem. Just an embarrassment and disservice to these legends. They deserve so much better.

Maybe the sound quality is because we're hearing everything from a cellphone microphone positioned a few feet in front of the speakers. I can't imagine those were the same levels in house.

@@herisingfilms6298 I mean if we can hear the bgv from the video, I sure they can in the room. That also doesn’t solve why musicians are paying attention and the sound crew either. It was Jacky’s lead and her mic was not on in the house. I understand we aren’t getting the ‘plugged-in’ audio. I’m not speaking so much about what we hear on our end, but the production in general.
