Interesting realization I had right as the stream ended: Redstone torches give off a light level of 7. Minecraft recently made a change to light levels such that this will actually block mob spawns. Since you seem to have a lot of sticks and redstone dust, this may be a cheaper way to prevent spawns compared to glowstone

At 1:14:15, you can hear a grass-eating sound, but none of the grass blocks turn to dirt. This means the short grass got eaten. When you look later, the short grass is gone, and the grass block is dirt. It only could become dirt *because* the short grass was already eaten. So the short grass doesn’t permanently protect Arnold, but rather gives him a one-bite buffer, which is still super helpful. From the Minecraft wiki: “Sheep graze short grass (but not tall grass), making it disappear, and grass blocks, changing them into dirt blocks.”

Keep this up bro, love the channel. I've never been so interested in a series/challenge of any game except for this one You're brilliant mate.

If you want more color, I am almost certain you can combine red dye with white dye (from bonemeal) to make pink and you can also combine red and yellow dyes to make orange dye.

This could be a nice compromise between the idea of it being the journey that matters, not the end, and still getting to explore more of the world. :]] I haven't watched this stream yet so i don't know if he talks about what he's planning on doing if he gets to the nether- like if he'll start on one block besides the portal there as well or if it'll just be a regular nether. Either way i bet it could be fun to see what options would open up with access to the nether and the end.

You can just break the growing grass with your hand to get a chance at seeds dropping. You don't need to till or break the block at all.
