I tried joining a new church that a friend suggested to me, he said I’d love it if I came from a catholic background, so I tried it out. I was pretty shocked on my first impression. The priest was a woman. So after mass I was back at the dorms and to my friend I was like “eh idk man if this is the right church the priest is a woman and thats unbiblical”. A few minutes later he texts me and says 🫵🫵🫵that I have to reassess my morals because what I said was super hateful and sexist and because “times change, morals change with that.” Btw I am not trying to get cancelled, and i have enough scripture to back up my claim. I’ll be open if he came up with this from scripture interpretation but it’s the “progressive times change so your faith also has to change” so I’m throwing his argument out the window.

I can't think of even one mega church that has a pastor who teaches the true the gospel of Jesus Christ. Seems they all either add to it or subtract from it to say what they want it to say. The people who attend those churches seem to worship their pastor more then Jesus.

Yes, Today's church in America has very low standards. I believe this comes from a lack of knowledge of the bible, and being held accountable. In my particular denomination we have high standards for both the members and our clergy. I do profess to be a christian who tries to hold himself accountable to God and my fellow believers. For your FYI I'm a member of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. We are a bible believing, and confessional church.

Gentiles were grafted in and in reality we have grabbed hold to what Israel still rejects. I can’t say that I remember you affirming any sermons or teachings of Voodie Baucham; am I wrong. There are many more who legitimately belong clustered in condemning videos of standards in the Church being lowered. Not this time though.

Adderrell You heard Voddie right. I witnessed the entire sermon where he said the church is the new Israel. That's what the orthodox church teach as well when I was there, they are wrong. Israel is under the Mosaic Law, 🔯 The Church is under Grace.✝️

I agree, but...my daughter has had a rough go of life in the past 5 years. Wrongly convicted for murder. She's never been in trouble and is a really loving person. Her hope, in this mess, is that she is in a place that she can be used by God. She's reading and praying and growing closer to Him daily. The prison system sucks. And, if anyone has any knowledge of it, then you know that there are drugs, sexual immorality, and just a lot of things that none of us ever see. I wouldn't dare say some of these things to those women. That are struggling, living the best that they can with what they have. They want to know a God that love and accepts them, where they are at. Like I said, I agree with you, but not everyone can start on top. Some start at rock bottom. And, we may not see how far they have grown or changed. They may still have a bunch of stuff that we would just cringe about, but look where they started. Let's just love and accept, not the sin, but the person. Because, God loves and accepts us

Voddie shouldn't say it that way. There is only one continuous Israel. It used to be a land mass, a nation, but now it was opened up to include the Gentiles, and together the people of faith in Messiah from the Old Covenant and the people of faith in Christ (Jew and Gentile) in the New Covenant, make up one people of God - the joining of Jew and Gentile together as new creatures is the Israel of God: (Eph 2:11) … *_in the past you, the Gentiles_* ... (Eph 2:12) … *_were at that time without Christ, being cut off from any part in Israel's rights as a nation, having no part in God's agreement,_* (Eph 2:13) *_But now in Christ Jesus you who at one time were far off are made near in the blood of Christ._* (Eph 2:14) … *_he_* ... *_has made the two into one, and by whom the middle wall of division has been broken down,_* (Eph 2:15) *_Having_* … put an end to that which made the division between us, … *_so that he might make in himself, of the two, one new man,_* ... I believe this is a theory that says God has rejected Israel (the Jews) and replaced her with the Church. I think this is clearly refuted in Romans, for one. Paul, a believing Jew, says in the letter to the Romans that God “grafted” the gentiles into the Vine of His life, and he states that God can cut them off if they fall away and “regraft” believing Jews back into the Vine. There are other examples of Gods intention toward historical Israel, His ancient people, and also warnings to those who sit in the Church thinking themselves secure- when, as Jesus says in Revelation about Laodecia, they are poor, blind, wretched and naked. Apparently many Reformed theologians think this. I think the Scripture says otherwise. I think there is one Church, the body of believing humankind who remain loyal to the Lord. I also believe that God has planned to save those of His ancient people who will finally recognize Him as their Messiah. Those are just my thoughts from observing scripture…Old Testament to New. Hope it helps a bit.

Church is intended to be for members of the body of Christ. We are living stones built up an habitation of God by the Spirit. Come out from among them, and be separate, what fellowship hath light with darkness. And those in the body that are impenitent and unruly are to be put away from among us, those without God judges. Purge out the old leaven that you may be a new lump. Christ is our Passover, let us keep the feast with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. But to the contrary, we have failed to follow the word of God on this line. We even invite the world to have fellowship among us. The results have been disastrous, and we have failed to understand why. We are called to be holy, but the world is not sanctified, it is unclean. It is like the mixed multitude that followed Israel out of Egypt, and hindered the people of God, causing them to err greatly. The commission is to go into the world and preach the gospel with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven. But many are not endued with that power to be a witness unto Jesus Christ. Therefore we have created a substitution, and follow inventions like church growth, designed to grow ministries that do not help the people to grow up into the fulness of the measure of the stature of the head, who is Christ Jesus. We are playing church, we are pretending to be manifestly declared to be the sons of God. We cannot be distinguished from the world, because the world is in the church, and those who love God and his word cannot bear it, they simply do not attend out of disgust. We are due for a time of refreshing, and a restoration, that great grace may rest upon this great body, the pillar and the ground of the truth.

Mathew 5:16 is a great standard for all believers (church ) but unfortunately believers are obsessed with calling out other believers. Instead of calling out others who are we calling them to?If we let the light of Christ shine in our individual lives and when we assemble together collectively we shine the light of Christ to a dying world. Sadly believers are engaged in endless fruitless debates concerning doctrine,dogma and theology. When has arguing amongst believers won any non believer to Christ? We say we’re shocked that the world is confused maybe because the standard the church is setting is also confused. Ephesians 4:13

The Israel of today is not the Israel of ancient time, wich is judah and Israel that's under the Abraham covenant, that has everlasting life! They will be resurrected because of the covenant of Abraham. Now when the Lord was born, he came to the remnant of his time. And they rejected their Messiah, and Jesus told them, you are of your father the devil, because you don't believe on me! As the scriptures has said, the true jew in born again by the spirit not of the flesh, as Nicodemus was, and as other jews that was filled with holy spirit!

Yes, the early church was also mostly made up of jews and they are what we consider "natural" jews/Israel and gentiles were grafted in. And the Jews that refused the Messiah fell off and Judaism is not Israel...so I disagree with Corey hard here. The Church that was established by the apostles following Jesus is the new Israel. I'm not really sure what Corey is about with this one I would love for him to speak to Fr. Stephen De Young or the youtuber @kabane also known as Seraphim Hamilton

Paul had the gift of healing but he himself was afflicted with a thorn in his flesh. Some of the examples of these pastors are correct but some of this is also in error.

​@@rudyv.7198 Well if you read the whole block of scripture 2 Corinthians 12: 7 - 10 he does talk about boasting in his infirmities which points to the fact that he had an ailment. So be careful about nitpicking what you want to hear a read in context. A lot of heresy has been formulated due to not reading things in context.

The thorn that Paul is referring to is the battle between the spirit and the flesh.

@@lucasmaagi I believe that too ... but i don't blame people calling him elohim because the was the representative of Yahuah as Yahuah ... no one can see Yahuah but they saw Yahusha as Yahuah ... why do i say that ... (John 1:18 [KJV]) No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. he was the word made flesh and the word was elohim but no one has seen the one true elohim ... he was the beginning of Yahuah creation ... the light in the first day ... the light that blind paul in the road to damascus ... but most people don't know that ... until they search for him they will not find him ... the reason i call him Yahusha is because Yahuah is salvation ... the deliverer that Yahuah sent
