I've been camping for 50 years, and this is the most EPIC chuck box I've ever seen. Nice work Sir.

Definitely the best design I've seen . Would be easy to pack for overlanding, and eventually incorporate into an overlanding trailer setup. Doesn't have a big footprint, but has everything you could possibly need.

After watching your video, I had to have one of these, built one right away and stocked it just as you have (it's got everything you could need to cook a meal!). This is the best chuck box design I've ever seen. It just so well organized. I incorporated some magnets into my box in order to hold things in place such as my spice rack, a small LED light inside, etc., which has worked out well. Every time I camp, folks are always stopping in to ask about it (or sneaking up to take a look when I'm not around :) ). I recently printed a QR code that links to your video and attached it to the box so others could look it up and see how it's made and build one for themselves. Thanks so much for such a great video and sharing such a good idea!

@@damonhayward7929 The box fully loaded weighs Approximately 75 pounds. It’s a little awkward to lift alone unless you are a pretty stout fella. Easy enough for two people to each grab a handle. I was in my 40s when I built it so back in those days I could handle it alone okay. Now that I am in my 70s I need to unpack a few things for easier mobility. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

Hot damn!! I've been watching kitchen box videos for inspiration for making a sewing/textile repair kit I want to take to festivals, and yours is the best so far!! I LOVE how you've created different levels of working space! And you totally blew my mind that there is an adapter for refilling those 1lb propane tanks!!!! I remember when they were $3-4 each, now they're like $10 and the adapter is only $13! That single tip is gonna save me SO much money!!

Thank you for sharing your design, Bill! I have watched this video 3-4 times. We just sold our camp trailer and are going back to tent camping! My two girls love going and their favorite part is the eats!!! I am going to build this over the winter to be ready for next spring. I've been camping all my life, with my dad, boy scouts(built the patrol box as a project with my dad), and of course, bivouac during my service years. This is the best chuck box I've ever seen. Bill Dixon How much does it weigh?

Really really nice! Two things I would change. A dowel or tension rod to hold those mugs and cups you could run it all the way through, mug handles and glasses should sit there. Second, i would use a peg or bolt to hold the plates two for plates snug and that nice platter. The rest is super! I like the water pump and basin too!👍

That chuckbox is an amazing set up, and I look forward to the upcoming videos you mentioned in a comment below showing the other/smaller versions. I do have a question about the one in this video though....Did you mention the weight of it with all the gear in it? Easy to move around with one person? I may have to tackle that project one of these days and build something similar to that box. The way it all integrates is pure genius!! Love it
