ON RECORD: UNTOLD & RETOLD is a specially curated festival that explores black music in Liverpool and the role it has played in the city and communities over the past 70 years.
A selection of local artists were invited to the Liverpool Philharmonic to perform live as part of the inaugural launch on Friday 30 October, including The Christians.
Well known for their infectious melodies and warm harmonies, you can watch them here performing popular tracks from the 80s and 90s.
