Thank you for mentioning this. This scripture is of great comfort to me because we all dread dying here. We just do. But when you know where you will go and it is to be with the Lord Jesus in Heaven, then you have some comfort in our impending death. Because we will all die one day, we just don't know when or how.

Carmen’s soul and spirit returns to God who gave it. We serve a God of the Living, not a God of the Dead because Jesus defeated death at the cross!!! I was a pre-teen in the early 90s when I first started listening to Carman. My church youth group would play his albums quite often, my grandmother even loved his music. I still remember the Halloween special that he had on TBN, we recorded it on VHS and watched it many many times. Great memories from a wonderful artist.

What a shock didn't know Carmen changed addresses, from earth to heaven. What an amazing human, his songs were inspiring. When at my lowest, I heard him, and he gave the courage to pull through, in JESUS. My deepest sympathies to his family. GOD BLESS

We all loved Carmen and sad to see an end to great. I have some of his cds He will be missed but he is at home with the Lord. What his life and music was all about.

I was thinking about Carmen, remembering a music video about DC that I thought was so relevant today. I was looking it up when I saw this post. Praying for his family and close friends at this time. He encouraged me in my Christian faith and also to be aware and active in our country. God has blessed me with Carmen's gift of singing, videos, and most important, his message of the gospel! Our loss, Heaven's gain, but we have eternity in Christ Jesus our Savior!

He was my favorite artist growing up , got to see him twice in concert. I am sad at his passing, but thankfully we all know it was just the Champion calling him home after a job well done. God bless his family, and his work.

I have been very privileged to have attended his concert in Utah, in the year or close to 1994. Or close to it. What a joy! Good meaning man. He so inspired me to know God suffered for all people. So that we could be forever with him God/ Jesus after this short life on earth,

His song the Champion impacted me. I realized which side I was on and decided to give my life to Christ.

I went to two of his concerts here in Utah with my grandchildren and they loved it!!!!

Carmen is one of the most respected, honorable people on the planet. With his great personality, forever youthful good looks and amazing talent, he could've become puffed up, conceited but he steadfastly lived his life to the glory of God. I know he heard the words from his Heavely Father he worked so hard to hear, "Well done, My good and faithful servant! Enter into the joy of thy salvation!"

He had an impact on my life, his gospel band influence me with my family of Brass and Reed instruments! 🙏🎶
