i am chinese citizen myself, I will admit the gaming culture is extremely toxic with little moral compass limiting. However, even though you'll probably be right to assume every teamer and cheater to be Chinese 80% of the time if not more, I feel like it is also important to point out the fact there are legit players(which spud constantly points out in his stream but not in this vid). Without that clarification, I can understand why people can perceive this as racially motivated, even though anyone who watches your streams knows you're not.

Region locking china would be a good step forward. VPN's are a thing but it will defo impact the scurge that is China on the OCE servers. Many games have been ruined due to their teaming

@@RealTalkWithMitch I doubt it will do anything, anyone who's capable of installing cheat programs or organising massive teaming groups would be able to install vpns anyway, i'm pretty sure most chinese citizens would already have vpns because of their awful laws. Also, I don't like discriminating against those who aren't cheating, the people who don't cheat don't deserve to be lumped in with all of the cheaters just because everyone else doesn't want to deal with it, there has to be another solution.

It's in a much better state now, has fun quests and if you don't play super late at night (australia), then you won't run into the chinese teamers. Definitely recommend getting back into it.

And i thought i was hallucinating hearing something heavy grinding against the concrete outside of my house. Turns out it was just spuddy passing by, his massive balls of steel destroying the Ni Hao Mafia.

This is also true in schooling, Business and life in general. The government and companies really doesn't care because it makes them money. not true at all...best example is the automotive industry in China. You have litteraly fake brands, like fake Audi, fake BMW, ect... they are stealing everything, when is China came with something by themself, never. Zero innnovation in China, only copy pasta

100% this, I'm from SEA and this is absolutely true to the core. Many of them not only do it for item trading but cheat testing too, only 3:10 really playing the game seriously.

Ive stopped playing dark and darker because of this very reason, which really sucks because I still thoroughly enjoy the game. Just the constant loop of grinding to get gear good enough for HR goblin caves, only to get teamed on and lose everything gets very stale, very quickly. dude this is master class production right here easily the TOP DaD creator by far, every video's been a banger ever since the pyromancer class vid keep it up man, and I knew it was an issue but not to this extent this is absolutely ridiculous, basically renders your server unplayable because how are you suppose to kill 4-5 people that are also geared in rapid succession someone suggested a ping lock which i'm wondering if that would fix the issue but have no idea if that's viable or not.

This kinda thing happened in Planetside 2. It took some years to reach U.S. servers but it eventually did as the AUS server population dwindled to nothing. Even in cases where people aren't blatantly cheating, the abuse of high ping in a game with clientside hit detection will make you pull your hair out. Dying behind cover, people killing you before even rendering on your screen, shooting people and it not being registered, being insta gibbed. Stealth classes become particularly toxic, and anything utilizing high mobility.
