The moment I see that videos are using pictures of different people to illustrate the story, to say nothing of the bot voice to read the narrative, I sign off, because it’s all a lie.

The voice is just about the same in every video. I find this annoying. If the voice showed at least some emotion, it would be better. The music probably wouldn't be needed. I find it annoying, and I feel it detracts from the stories! In many videos, skin tones, hair colors ect . aren't consistent, or an emotion is spoken by the storyteller, the person's face in the videos othen doesn't reflex it. If things like these were corrected, the videos would be excellent! However, the stories are worthy of being told. I can't fathom, the number of people who might see this video, who don't know that dogs can be of service in this particular way. A light could go off in someone's head who knows someone ( maybe even themselves, ) whose life could be enhanced by a service, companion, therapy, or emotional support animal . Notice I said animal and not dog? There are other animals that serve in these capacities, including horses, birds, rabbits, and cats. For those out there who are or know someone who are allergic to dogs , I just gave you several other potential options. I'm sure there are options I am unaware.

She has such a keen sense of smell that she had it in 4 tries. Glad there was help from the dog at just the right time.

This is a bitter/sweet story. A story for all to see or hear. It only goes to show that with God, all things are possible. Max did play an important role in Colin's life. Yes, I do have a dog who is now four years old. His name is Buttons and I would not trade him for the world. He is such an adorable pet who has learnt many tricks all by himself eg. If someone calls my name or rap's at the door he barks. If I ask him for a kiss, he does just that. He can also jump over a chair or return a ball to my grand kids when they kick it away

I had a dog just like this. I got her from the pound also. She knew a lot of commands to help a disabled person. I was told I needed to pay another $50 for her, since the first dog did not work out for me. I was just diagnosed with MS. I could not afford the other $50. I did not get to have the instructions on how to have her help me. It was also in a different language. So I told her it's fine you can just be a dog now. Oh how I wish I had those instructions. She is gone now. But I have her ashes in a teddy bear that I sleep with every night!

The best things about dogs their keen sense of smell and their sharp ears to hear. Years ago, my two older brother were escorted home by our dog. He knew it was time to go to the school to pick them up. Dogs 🐕 🐶 can hear and smell is the reason they are trained as companions. Trained to track criminals and lost people.

I'm not saying this to be disparaging. Instead, it's hopes to prevent tragedies, due to misrecognition among VERY different dog breeds. In the 2nd video (which was really good) you're talking about Labs, which WERE shown at the end. Many of the other white dogs shown were NOT! One was probably a Lab/Golden mix, where there wouldn't have been much of a problem. The other 2 breeds - - BIG PROBLEM!... Pyrenees; &, ESPECIALLY Akbash Shepherd Dogs (which are one of the ancestors of the Pyrenees breed, are VERY different; &, both breeds need to be carefully researched prior to adoption! Don't get me wrong, they're both WONDERFUL breeds, as long as you DON'T mistake them for a Lab!!! My mobility service dog is at least 3/4 Akbash, with "up to" a 1/4 white Lab mixed in somewhere in his history, mainly reflected in the fact that he's only 100#s. (They can get up to 140#!) Pyrenees tend to be something that can be pretty well summed up as " more domesticated version of an Akbash.) Both are "work-a-holics," who HAVE TO have a job! If they don't, they'll figure one out for themselves; &, chances are you won't like it... Also, "without a flock" even if it's a "flock" of humans or other dogs), they're very inclined to roam. They are NOT happy with living in town (for both of them, it's recommended that they have at least 5 (well fenced) acres to "patrol;" especially, at night. The only Pyrenees I've had was a Pyrenees/Akbash mix, who was my Akbash's companion dog until the fire. (She was out & safe; &, even helped me to get up when I fell while trying to get the garden hose unkinked. She was with me when I was getting the keys out of my truck to unlock the gate for the approaching brush pumper; but, all I can figure out is that she spooked at the brush pumper; then, without my seeing her do it, pulled a "horse running into a burning barn" stunt, which really broke both my heart & that of my service dog. THANK GOD I never heard any screams, leaving me hope that carbon monoxide "got her" before the fire reached where she was trying to hide in the house!!! For a picture of her, shortly after I adopted her for him, see [NO-WWW kathy74868 d weebly d com].) Anyway... Back on topic: Akbash are compulsive diggers, with it being "hard-wired" into their survival DNA. They do NOT see humans on a vertical hierarchy - you have to EARN your bond with an Akbash; &, even then, it's a flexible partnership. ONLY POSITIVE reinforcement training works with them!!! While they like attention, they're not big on cuddling or snuggling. They're also WAY more intelligent than more domesticated dogs, with the ability to analyze situations & make a decision accordingly. They tend to be VERY independent; &, "work oriented." Unfortunately, too many people see a "white ball of fur" & ASSUME it's a Lab, This is how my service dog wound up in the local pound. He was picked up roaming by the female ACO that worked in Seminole, when he was "about 24 months;" &, she went to the trouble to track down where he'd gotten loose from. She went up to the door, knocked, & told the {insert long string of expletives} skank that answered the door, "We've got your dog at the pound, if you want to come get him." The skank replied with a belligerent "GO F#@% YOURSELF!!!" & SLAMMED THE DOOR IN HER FACE!!! All I can say is that her loss was DEFINITELY my gain! I couldn't have custom designed a better mobility dog - for me. (If I were a dog, I'd BE an Akbash; so, we bonded pretty quickly.) The "bottom line" is that he & his former person (I'm deliberately NOT using the word "owner;" since, that term would be an insult to any Akbash) were horribly mis-matched. Under different circumstances, her lack of comprehension of his breed characteristics could easily have cost this wonderful dog his life!!! PLEASE!!! When getting a dog, DO YOUR RESEARCH; &, NEVER "assume" that a dog is of a specific breed just because you saw a picture of it on a video such as this. Understand that adopting a dog is like adopting a child - IT NEEDS TO BE A LIFETIME COMMITMENT!!! It's NOT like "buying a couch" or "new curtains"!!! Also, if they aren't already spayed or neutred, get that done! The number of unwanted pets who get slaughtered every year in "shelters;" or, who die from getting dumped out on some back country road is heart-wrenching!!!
