    I love these heart to heart discussions and congratulations on securing the redoubtable Tony Belas .... my number one air rifle guru. Like many airgunners I am a fan of buying fairly new but used rifles because it allows you to buy a higher end gun without paying the earth. Some second-hand buyers' guides would be most welcome because you guys know all about reliability and serviceability and aren't afraid to tell the awful truth.

    thanks john, very nice of you to say so. Yes, we can go through what to buy what not to buy and what to look for on some 'pre-used' airguns. If you look behind me in the red wolf vid you can see an older MK3. We wanted to go through that but ran out of time. So another day!

    Kind of you to reply Tony. You have the distinction of selling a new Brocock to a friend of mine who would otherwise have never bought a new gun. We met you at The Northern Shooting Show and he was so impressed with your charm and knowledge about the Bantam he went and bought one! Top man.

    Love the new channel and I love pistols rifles fu,k I love eny guns I can get my hands on however price is a considerable point and I have a gas blowback Glock 19 from kwc it's acurat and realistic with full blowback and full metal dropout mag so a million years ago when I was a soldier I could get eny real steel I wanted and that tells you a lot the kwc is as close as you are going to get without fireing bullets love the new channel however I loved the old one

    Excellent show guys, the chiappa looks ok and is to all intense and purposes with its removable tube for filling, a starter PCP and I only say that because I cant think of another these days where you have to take the tube off to fill, and straight from the off is a single shot. and in my opinion is a little over priced at 700 quid. I wish it luck but I think the fan base might be limited. saw the glint in your eye and a perk up when you talked about pistols Lloyd, pistol shooting is so much fun and always a pleasure to do. atb phil EDIT just seen another video and the Chiappa team say if you are finding it hard to set up the sights (printing too far left, right, up or down) their answer is to turn the barrel ! thought we had got away from all that with the use of the latest CNC machinery, does it strike you as odd as it does me ?

    Personally I love the channel, I am quite old and been shooting for 45 years so I think the balance between new and old is great, never thought I would see the Park or Stirling again! What was the rifle that shot what looked like pre-charged shotgun shells, they were bright red so you could find them after they ejected? I know Brocock went on to the brass shells but cannot remember the name of the other one. Have you got a dreamline with ar stock in stock? First rifle was an Original model 22 and now I shoot all sorts 2x weihrauch hw100s Air arms s200 built from scratch from bits, 19 year old s410k, it was the first one that my local shop Tal Arms had in stock, I have replaced the charging valve on the air cylinder three times and stripped and serviced it about three times, it was used for competition professional pest control and everything in between it must have fired 10s of thousands of pellets over the years and I still have my Simmons mag 44 sat on top, it can do the bottle top challenge with ease after all these years and still looks great! bought my first Daystate, a regal HR nearly returned it and then had to as it broke, took seven weeks on order but they repaired and returned it in under a week! To much GLUE!!! on the hammer and a loose pin is what the report said! I also have a Logun Axor which I have stripped and repaired about 50 times, last time the valve pin broke and a trusty HW95, after the collapse of society it will keep food on the table for a long time, such an accurate gun for a springer and I am 4'10" so if I can shoot it anyone can! You can tell I am getting old by the rambling, I hope to come into the shop one day but I live on the south coast, however my wife is Scottish so a small diversion next time. Keep up the good work and maybe do a feature on disabled short arse shooters some time I would be happy to come up for a laugh and I don't belong to the snow flake generation!

    Hi Guys, I found your video very interesting and informative, I am looking at getting into 10 meter Target and the Chiappa seems to offer a good base especially if you are on a low budget and self funding. I am a disabled shooter and would like to know more about guns and help and advice for disabled shooters, it seems there are a lot of people giving a lot of different info, and its like trying to platt fog in sifting out which info is good and which is not so good, anyway keep up with the gun info you are doing a good job in my book. I'll check you out on facebook all the best my friends.

    Hi Lloyd/Tony I have a couple of questions that I am not able to get a positive answer too= I believe that the latest edition of the Huntsman Regal has a regulator fitted, am I able to have this installed into my existing rifle and approx costing......also, I wanted an adjustable cheek piece incorporated into my existing stock, from costs quoted, it would probably be more prudent to buy a separate stock, I must be honest I would prefer not to cut into the existing stock....do Daystate produce an adjustable that fits the Regal? The new channel is fantastic!! Kind regards.

    Hi Allan. Daystate have confirmed they won't be offering a reg fitting service to the older models and they don't make an adjustable Regal stock, but you can buy and fit a reg yourself ( or get a decent gunsmith to fit it ) www.xtxair.com/products/daystate-huntsman-regal-huma-regulator-internal-diy-fit Thanks for watching :)

    Hello, excellent show. I would like too ask which do you recommend for hunting in FAC within the uk, .22 or .25 cal, is one inherently more accurate over the other? Kind regards Stewart

  • @hotair4269

    @hotair4269

    6 жыл бұрын

    Usually the airgun rule is more power, bigger calibre. I would say sub 40 stick to .22 to keep a nice flat trajectory, over that I would go to .25 . It used to be the case that .25 pellets weren't very good but now we have a wider choice including the JSB brand so accuracy isn't an issue :)

    After some tests ... removing the barrel ...perssure loss ..... zzzzz refil again ventil closed and no loss ... happens sometimes 😈😇 ! Trigger was perfectly adjusted ! Tunnels are compatible to the Feinwerkbau tunnels f.ex. Centra Tunnels ... I suggest to choose the Centra Chrystal 22mm with a yellow filter include a 3.5mm ring All regular 11mm Tunnels wont fit theyre for Anschütz or so ...👍 + Centra Diopter 20 click - Base or the 57 Version 😆 to load the pellet it would be nice to have it like a Walter 200 or 400 where it opens to the top ... it would be easier to load .... for 10m competition you shoult buy following parts ... Chiappa has tested it combined with MEC Centra parts ❤ it fits perfect ! www.centra-visier.de/en/products/sights/tunnels/score-crystal/ www.centra-visier.de/en/products/sights/front-ring-sight/front-sigts-rings/high-end-crystal/ www.centra-visier.de/en/products/sights/rearsight/pro-57-startline/ Change the diopter default iris to www.centra-visier.de/en/products/sights/iris-aperture/sight-30/sight-30-combi/

    Been interested to see this gun, filling that way is disappointing, and puts me off a bit, if they need the cylinder to be removed, couldn't they have done something similar to the HW 100, know the cost would have increased, but think the way it is might put some people off, especially if you are used to quick fill PCP's, anyway, just my thoughts, loving the channel, nice to see a different format and have the extra insider type info Tony can give, it's good to see reviews that don't feel bought and paid for by the manufacturers!

    we can and will cover second hand buys as we do not need to appease the manufacturers who would prefer to see the latest and greatest. Theres a LOT of competition in that price bracket , a lot of quality kit at a far cheaper price as well , and all with fill adapters , bit of a faux pas I think in both PRICE & ease of use ( having too remove cylinder too refill after 60-70 shots ) ..its a nice looking rifle , thats for sure , but , I think its a bit of a "non starter " ... which is a shame , because it could be so much better ...
