The Chemical Brothers have made so many bangers, on occasion, you come across one you haven't yet heard. And thus, here we are. Well done chaps.
“The Weekend Starts Here: Live @ Red Rocks 1999” brought me here. I was fortunate enough to be present that evening. With Fatboy Slim as the opener and closing it out with a MASSIVE set from ChemBros, I’d say that night was one of THE best shows I’ve ever attended. And, loudest.
I listened to this while on acid and walking In the forest a couple months ago , i forgot I was listening to it because that’s how entranced in it I was, and then sometimes I’d be like omg, these tunes, are moving me.
(#side note)...seen them Live many times and various DJ sets...never disappointed...but the one the that stands out was at Sankey's in my home town(Manchester) they dropped vinyl till 5 am and I felt like I'd been transported on a musical magic carpet tour...Wow...I'm 56 now and i'll remember that set always...peace

Their dJ sets are just as good as their own music. Hard to put one above the other. Great talent. Some people just think they are overrated celebrities, but unlike many 'superstar dj's', I believe they truly deserve the fame. They put the work in. They love what they do. It shows. Been a fan since 1994 I'm 47 now, and I still love the ChemBros.

the transition from music:response to block rockin beats is so grand
Best part of an afternoon disappeared in happy listening at work! Thank you.

Outstanding production of their work, excellent mixing!

Thank's for your time and sharing. I'm a new suscriptor. Bless
This is awesome! Saw them on the Surrender tour and definitely think you did some justice to their transitions in between tracks.
I saw them in 2002 Delta Heavy tour. I’d been to tons of raves and events prior to seeing them. Was one of the best live acts I’ve seen ever. Jimmy Van M, Sasha & Digweed opened too. Very memorable night, the crowd was jumping the whole time.

@24:55 this is a proper rave track. Never saw them live here in the southern California scene back then. Never really saw any acts. Just loved the tech-house DJs. Although I did see Darren Emerson from underworld DJ in 2000 at Nocturnal Wonderland 2000. A massive in the desert. Pretty good. New Order "confusion" (the Blade movie song) at 3am was awesome 😉

Quel Talent!
Nicely done!
Great job. The block rockin beats into song to the siren bit is a very accurate recreation of those 99-00 gigs. I love their most recent set, they've changed a lot of things around from the 2019 set. Wish they would release studio versions of some of their past sets, surely they have the recordings

Great Album - love it! 😆🤩😀
Rise ,rise and GO !

I just noticed that the album cover is slightly trippy.
What's up with the cover art? Photoshopped from a single or something? You make it appear as if this was an official release... very tricky! 🤔 Had me fooled for a minute there... (long time super fan)
