thank you for this review! I am planning to go to Argentina and I had no idea which airlines to take. I am from Toronto and I've used Delta 20 years ago(which was nice) and 2 years with Air Canada (the worst!)
I've flown Copa many times and I think some important things were missed here: - Connecting through Panama does not require passengers to go through immigration or recheck bags like the US does. I prefer to transit through Panama. - They have an exceptional on time performance - Most airlines don't serve a meal in economy on a 4hr flight. On Copa you're guaranteed a meal

Those are great points, and I was unaware of their on-time performance! Regarding the connections - you'll have to go through immigration at some point anyway when flying to the U.S., so I didn't really consider that. Though, if you're flying to one of Copa's two destinations in Canada, then that's relevant. Also, while one meal may be alright on a 4 hour flight, it's not great on the 7+ hour overnight flights that they operate to South America- especially when compared to United or American on similar routes.
