I went back and forth last year picking between Excellence and Live Aqua. Excellence was just on another level in almost every area aside from the ocean & sand optics. Excited to see how Live Aqua stacks up in hindsight.

Excellence Punta Cana was stunning, sp the staff and live events with live Latin music! Loved how much of Dominican culture was incorporated into the shows, entertainment, and food offered along with International options. We got married there on the gorgeous beach gazebo and our Weddingmoon was the most perfect week! Can't wait to go back, the pandem!c canceled 2 of our trips there😢

Staying at excellence resorts in the past, going here will be a disappointment for sure. Is it nice- Yes. Not excellence level though ❤

My SO and I just returned from Live Aqua 2 weeks ago for my birthday. We loved it. We had an Aqua Swim up with the honeymoon upgrade. I highly recommend it for a Baecation. It's not for a girls trip. Definitely not a party hotel. The food is good and the chef will prepare off menu requests. They grilled a whole red snapper for us. Very romantic place. Loved it. Drinks could have been better.

Excellent video James! We are looking to do an All-Inclusive instead of a cruise in August 2024 (we already have 4 cruise booked for 2024). We have narrowed it down to Live Aqua or Excellence in PC.

@Coolist what has been you experience with traveler's diarrhea in Punta Cana?

I stayed there in may and the food was disappointing, as well as the drinks, but the staff was amazing. The pool area is boring. It needs to be a little bit lively for an adults only all inclusive.
