    As a skins fan, I geniuenly haven't met anyone who believes its ekeler > b-rob for next season, just fans of other teams. ekeler might be the fantasy guy, but he clearly took a step back, and now has legit competition with a back who can handle 3 downs, and I don't think daniels will drop it off to RBs as much as your typical rookie QB. Obviously ekeler has pedigree, but IMO b-rob should not be drafted this close to ekeler AT ALL

    BRob is very talented but at least you're favoring him over Ekeler in projections. He had an INSANE efficiency in the redzone on catches last year, and had quite a few explosive runs in an incompetently schemed EB led offense. Kingsbury is going to end up getting the most out of him.

    Crazy if Zeke spikes for 2 TDs in any of the best ball playoff weeks. Carolina should be in this discussion even though Brooks is being drafted like an contested workhorse. He is coming off an ACL injury and Hubbard is a serviceable vet.

    Fun Fact: Greg Roman is the Chargers new OC he was also the OC in Baltimore 2019-2022.... In 2022 both Dobbins and Edwards were in the ravens offense... Both totaled just under 100 rush attempts and scored 3-4 tds a piece and both around 500 yards... Dobbins had 2 back good games in 2022 116, 120 yard efforts... he seems to get snaked by goal line back and qb rushes.... Guss always a sleeper for TDs.... Vidal and Spiller maybe have more juice to carve out a role.... It's always fun to gamble on the rookie late rounds.... Ive read some say spiller has the most upside... Gonna be a dart through in best ball on this backfield

  • @ILoveJamesFelt

    @ILoveJamesFelt

    Ай бұрын

    I think of a lot of why Roman was in Baltimore to begin with is because Jim suggested him to John. John suggested both of these players to Jim. Brothers talk, and good brothers share. I think Jim/Greg will use the RB who sucks least, regardless of what they've done in the past. It feel like one of those "last man standing" situations here since outside of Vidal (sp?) None of the RBs here have been the picture of health.

I imagine dobbins starting and having 60 percent of the reps…. Gus 35 percent and goal line touches… best case scenario a Walmart version of Gibbs Montgomery lions offense… Vidal doesn’t hesitate to hit the hole but looks small on tape…. So was Austin eckler…. So Vidal likely a sleeper rb if dobbins goes down imo…. Chargers WRs and Te’s have some late round gems… Palmer, Quentin, Brenden Rice, Darius…. My favorite late round draft is 6’8 TE Parham

    I think that Dallas will look like this: Rico is the most talented RB in Dallas, but Zeke will get the workload. I’m going to think of it as a watered down Buffalo from last year, where Buffalo for most of the season refused to give cook the ball, forcing it to an aging back that clearly couldn’t get the job done. By the end of the season I think Rico takes over the backfield.

He claims he didn't get a lot of carries early in his career and he thus isn't as worn down at 31 as other backs. He claims he can beat Tyreek Hill in a 40-yard dash! :D I checked his stats from 2023. Lots of games with 80 yards and a TD. He finished with 1,000 yards and 15 TDs and obviously sees end zone work.

    Still crazy to me that Dallas' main issues for not making it far into the playoffs is because their O-line wasnt great and Tony Pollard sucks at football compounded by them having no one better than him at RB. Round 1 handles the O-linemen (mostly) and at round 3 they had Brae Allen sitting there. Now we get to watch them waste another year of CeeDee's prime and Dak's contract because they absolutely refuse to address their issues, while Brae Allen gets to waste away as a backup to Breece. (BTW, Fuck the Jets for wasting Brae's early career) Sometimes the stupidity by front offices makes me so angry.

For reference, Antonio Gibson has been a more efficient rusher for his career than BRob, and nobody pretends that he is good. This, in addition that Daniel’s will vulture some rushing TDs as well. I own zero shares of BRob, and I don’t think I ever will.
