@@un1sol_gr444 are you talking about Aleksa Tamburkovski and Andrei Neagoie ?
on the aspect of learning to code: kotlin is a great alternative to python that eliminates many beginner pitfalls through static typing and null safety. there even are quite a number of universities that switch from python to kotlin for their introductory courses, just because it is harder to shoot yourself in the foot while learning the ropes and exploring what is possible :) one other thing that you should keep in mind is how good the open source library ecosystem for that language is and how easy it is to import and use different libraries. python and kotlin both have an excellent community, so if you can think of it, there is probably an open source library for it, so you dont need to re-invent the wheel. but when it comes to dependency management, python is a bit stuck in the past and the venv/conda stuff can be quite overwhelming for beginners.
Please can you make a roadmap like this for blue team too?...It'll be really helpful!

Hey Heath Adams! Big fan of your Practical Ethical Hacking course. Just wanted to mention that it doesn't cover the "Covering Tracks" phase, which is crucial in the hacking methodology. Adding this phase would be awesome. Thanks!
Thank you so much! Heath. You provide great content. I really value your honesty as you recommend many resources even from competitors. I will study with you and get your certificates. My best wishes.
This video is exactly what I needed! Thank you SO MUCH!
Man thank you! Doing a course for live with Blackhills now and a course on Udemy. I can’t wait to do some courses with y’all! Heard a bunch of good things from people in the field.

Thank you for your awesome content! Do you recommend the eJPT v2 certification?
Hey really appreciate this!
@The Cyber Mentor This is a good resource and put out very timely for me. As I was discussing about pen testings with one of the software devs at work today. And he wanted to know the best way to learn. So this video is getting sent to him. Also another thing under the advancend section, when you mentioned about OWASP. It might have been good to add in about OWASP jucieshop with that. As that is a good resource to demostrate about the OWASP top 10. None the less good video 👍

Great information !
Thanks ,this video helped me a lot ,I had honestly thought I just need to listen to an ethical hacking course and I'm all set,but as I kept learning I realized that I lack a lot of basic knowledge needed throughout the course. At least now I have a path to follow ,which I found in time cause I was starting to lose hope .
This is a great roadmap, Now i know what to do 😇 . but You didn't mention any tools, i guess they'll be covered in the resources you shared
Are job roles such as penetration tester and ethical hacker considered an entry level, mid-level, or senior level position ?
This is such a great information. Do you offer relevant courses in your website, starting from the Network+ ?
Thankyour Sir for this amazing video!

Please, can anyone give an estimation of the time needed to complete this roadmap (considering a person new to IT and studying full time)
Thanks TCM!
It is greatly appreciated! It is what I needed to be able to start, since in a self-taught way it becomes difficult, I make a query, I have the Cisco cybersecurity course, which is quite complete, you say it is advisable to do it? And to do it where you would hook it, after Comptia Cybersecurity? or with this path is enough, since at the moment I could not pay the certifications which would be great to have it in the future, and Cisco gives you a mini certificate
the most mentor that i love in this field.
I‘d really love an image/infographic that shows this roadmap, so I can easily share it with my audience and students? Do you happen to have one ready? Or would you mind if I did one (and linked to your video/credited you?)
I believe that you are the most influencal and beneficial hacker in internet. Thank you for everything, you helped me through.
How do I register for the workshop since I dnt have business email?

Hey, thank you its amazing! certificates, should I have these 3 entry certificates to get a junior or entry level job?
Thanks for all you do. Can you help us the vulnserver site not working pls can you update it

Here's a great video that can help you with that: kzread.info/dash/bejne/p6Wcsc6IlNrHprg.html If you ARE getting interviews and you aren't getting offers you would need to self-reflect to understand where you went wrong. Sometimes reaching out for feedback on why you weren't selected can be helpful as well. You can also join our Discord server to seek feedback there as well. discord.gg/tcm Good luck to you!

I have an associates degree in networking and cybersecurity. I also have the COMPTIA A+ certification. Would it be worth it to get the Network+ and Security+ before going after the PNPT, or should I just shoot straight for the PNPT?
@TCMSecurityAcademy
Жыл бұрын
Everyone learns differently. A lot of what you learned from the A+ will be helpful for the PNPT, but having more foundational knowledge from the Net+ and Sec+ could also be helpful. However, with associates in networking and cybersecurity, you may already possess the knowledge required. Everything you need to learn to pass the PNPT is included in the training, having some of the core foundational knowledge prior to that will help put things into perspective and make a little more sense though. You can always enroll in the PNPT and begin your journey, if you feel that you aren't ready to get started you can always come back, you have lifetime access to the course materials and the vouchers are also lifetime as well. There is no rush! I hope this helps you! Good luck to you!

Hi, I have a question. first of all.. please accept my sincere gratitude for creating a free course for ethical hacking. I am a novice with no background in programming, however dur to my current role in information security i feel that this knowledge would be awesome. however, I do not have a windows machine and the course is for windows, do you have any courses that are desgined keeping macs in mind? thanks so much. apologies if my question is amateurish.
4:28 OKAY , I GUESS IN NEED TO LEARN NETWORKING
Say you want to go the cybersecurity route but live in a place that just doesn't care about it as much and rather take on risks, what kind of jobs can I search for until i build myself up enough to market myself? I have Network+, I have fixed computers, I know how to code, and I am half way there at Security+ and I have a master's degree in information assurance, but IT jobs want so many requirements and certs and I can't land one job, and mall or store jobs just see me as way overqualified and an employee that isn't going to stick around...? I need to eat too ...
I'm studying VERY hard in order to pursue a role of a sysadmin. That's my dream job. I would really appreciate if there is someone who is in this field or who knows enough about it that can tell me am I wasting my time doing this due to the rise of AI. Thanks!

Thanks for the amazing content Heath. Also, how do you weigh CCNA against CompTIA Net+? I am not looking to get the certificate anytime soon. I just want to study the content. Which one is more in-depth? I found the tutorial series from Jeremy's IT lab to be a lot helpful. I've also seen a lot of people saying CCNA is a waste of time.
