Just had some new information on peddle assist. If you calibrate the Gyro angle, use the manual mode, and set the assist grade to 99, then try ride it again, when your pedal speed up to 5km/h, the system will calculate and provide you assist power. you don't need push thumb throttle all the time.

You should have that catchphrase on a T Shirt for your Merch. "I've Got Another Box".

I watched another review of that kit and he made it out to be ( not worth buying ) you did a very good thorough review giving more details than I could shake a stick at, definitely something for commuting 👍 Ps, watching your videos and your crazy antics is always a good start to the day.

I think if you just want assistance going uphill its ideal, and with a thumb throttle it will feel better than peddal assist as I find pedal assist feels awful and kicks in like a turbo whereas if you have a thumb throttle it would be a smoother transition and wont feel the kicking in of the power. You've sold me on that one. Ive been umming and arring which to get out of a rear front or mid drive. I think if you already have a bike or can just buy a cheap one like you did its a perfect setup imo.
