Getting your engine too hot making it detonate before your spark. You need colder spark plugs if your going to push the engine like that under higher temps and higher compression. It’s not leaning out, the fuel is igniting prematurely because of the high temps and higher compression. Even at lower temps, you will get a misfire because your plugs need to be gapped less to get a more concentrated spark. But you’ll need a colder plug which has more ceramic that will transfer the heat to the heads so it won’t ignite the fuel from its radiating heat so that the fuel will not ignite until the spark is present.

Now me and the mad scientist gotta rip apart the block, and replace the piston rings you fried... It actually sounds a bit like a transformer...changing form...

I have similiar but have to keep low for doesnt cut fuel thru higher rpm's...(boost starts 3k rpm on stock turbo)

adj fuel pressure regulator, should be sold in pairs with manual boost controllers

why not using t7suite? its free, it works and you can play around as you like with boost timing fueling... oh and you can destroy it really fast if you want to..you want to

The manual controller isn't working properly because the car has an electronic controller... your trying to increase the boost the electronic is just going to adjust for the overboost

Does the ecu automatically adjust to more air, or is it running lean?

It can adjust somewhat, but you more than likely will run lean.

Your not lean bcs everything under that hood is stock. Your turbo will have to max out your mas air flow sensor.

My boost controler wasnt drilled all the way through to the actuator port. So the wastegate wasnt getting anything

How can you tell how much boost or how well its working if u have no boost gauge..

no man thats not a boot gauge its a 3 color line...you need a boost/vac gauge with numbers on it

Timothy Cote the needle was maxing out past the colored lines. It’s not a precise gauge but it is functional enough.

The second wire are you connecting to the little box. This is going to the wastegate?

Hahaha good stuff. Theoretically, if none of the components are steel and rust shut, it should actually work and last just fine. That is... Provided anything is actually built to a minimum specification.

You can only go as low as the spring. So if you have a 7lb spring in the waste gate then the lowest boost you can build is 7lbs. Turning it up can increase but your bottom range can’t go lower then the wastegate spring size.

Curtis White they do but it uses a ebc he T’d it in after the controller so it bypasses it

why do you even do mods like that when youre scared of loosing traction wtf is wrong wit some ppl

I shit you not, I was just looking for a manual boost controller for my car cause my stock electronic shit the bed and I was only making wastegate when I am supposed to make 12 pounds. I found your video and nearly shit myself when I saw you pull up in the same fucking old saab that I'm driving.

If you unplug the hose to the recirc and use a cone filter it'll do this
