The Chase UK: My Personal Favourite Final Chase From Each Series (Series 11-15)
Ойын-сауық
Remember, these are just my personal favourites, so no doubt, your list would be different.
Series 11 Episode 115:
I would’ve been a fool if I didn’t add this final chase to the list! The team played incredibly well to set a target of 24, but Jenny played unbelievably well to catch them, and with one mistake too! Highest target catch in recent years!
Series 12 Episode 112:
Judith is arguably the best solo player in Chase history, her performance in the final chase was sensational, setting a target of 20 is incredible, but executing 8 pushbacks on her own is bloody fantastic!! Thoroughly deserved the £70,000!
Series 13 Episode 36:
This was a no brainer! Another brilliant team setting a high target, but it was Paul’s comeback in the last 67 seconds that made this game so thrilling!!! He deserved the win after that run!
Series 14 Episode 190:
“Best chaser gets the best teams” as Mark quotes. I prefer this one over Anne’s 25 step final partly because Mark had a 14.5 chaser speed, whereas Anne only had a 12.5 chaser speed, and he was just going for it, he didn’t care if he won or lost, he was enjoying himself, just like I was when I watched this final for the first time!
Series 15 Episode 132:
It was VERY close between this final and Episode 51 as they had very similar outcomes, but this one had the edge for me because there was only 2 players playing for more money, but also, the answers they both pulled out was incredible! Jenny zigging when she should’ve zagged on the Istanbul question was what made the difference, but her run in the last 35 seconds was what made this final chase extra exciting! I had chills from it! Definitely the most exciting final chase in recent years!

Judith's final chase I think is the best ever. Superb pushback answers.
That catch from Jenny at the start was unbelievable
Honestly Judith should have been a chaser but it would probably be unfair she is a calm machine😂

Wow.. what an amazing final chase between Judith and Jenny! Judith should be a chaser.
Jenny's 24 step catch is unreal for Series 11. She could've caught 28 easily despite that pushback

God Judith and Jenny went to fucking WAR in that final chase. Back and forth with the answers and pushbacks. A wonderful sight!
Judith, best player I've seen absolutely amazing 👏
11:39 great positive speech from paul at the end there, thats why hes my favourite, funny and positive are the best words to describe a person, so well done for that!
That 24 step catch from Jenny was extraordinary wow
Jenny's Series 11 victory was incredible, even with such a high target she still had plenty of time. And all of Judith's pushback were great in the Series 12 episode, she really earned that victory. Thanks for sharing these.
Can't imagine how fun it is to be a Chaser. I can tell Bradley Walsh loves his job. He's always raring to go!😎

I loved all of these. I loved what you did. An amazing. near-faultless performance by Jenny, and then she meets her match. Love that contestant. Thanks for all your uploads.
I always feel so sorry for the people who lose on The Chase. The ones I love is when there is only one person against The Chaser & the Chaser loses!! Obviously The Chasers have so much knowledge it's incredible. Not always though, thank God!!!
19:51 Jenny’s face
This is why i love this show 👏👏👏
Excellent juxtaposition at the beginning. I love your videos.
Well my favourite final chases from Series 14 & 15 were Eden & Dan for obvious reasons (glad to see you’ve at least given them an honourable mention), but I can understand the reasons why you chose these ones though, the last one was particularly thrilling!
As an American I first off find these people are competing for far too little for the wealth of knowledge that is required to compete in such a show. Secondly, I don't mean to be rude but I thought it was kind of dick-ish to put that first clip up as that would've been life changing money for many of the contestants but after reading your explaination of the clips in the description I completely understand. Her bragging at the end "about being on fire" didn't seem right in my opinion as atleast Paul Sinha atleast seemed apologetic to the contestants that lost (he could've let it go in the end at the end of the day and rushing that last answer also kind of ruined it in my opinion). The chasers & the host clearly get paid well on these shows and they're basically shutting down the hopes of ordinary people for whom this money really could help. Just my two cents. Still I enjoyed the compilation of clips! You seem to have really thought this through & I can respect your choices. I don't know how long Beat the Chasers has been on but I would love to see more clips of that (best contestants and worst). I like that the stakes are raised higher & it's up to the people to make their risk/reward decisions.

how can you say ‘these people are competing for far too little’ and then proceed to say ‘that could have been a life changing amount of money’ smh
My personal favorite is Dan not only for the biggest solo win, but also the final pushback attempt Judith is a close second, she was just so skilled!
10 required..a second remaining..this'll be close. LMAO!!!!!!

The fact that chasers don't have to buzz during the final chase must give them an advantage of several seconds.

The Contestants get a head start depending on how many players get into the final, and also if there's only one player in the final chase, they don't have to buzz either.

Those questions were piss easy. Somebody couldn't afford giving them £100,000.
"the term Boylean applies to the theories of which physicist?" "Boyle" answer accepted & the chaser wins by 0.01 of a second. i'd be fighting people 😂 had to give a first name surely
The chase has definitely tightened up in the questions and budget. When a good team accumulates a decent cash build the questions seem strangely harder. There is bias loaded into the game in recent months which is a shame. It’s integrity is being lost

Ok, so, I have a personal gripe with a question here: 1. The Istanbul Airport question. There was "continent" in it, loud and clear. So, shouldn't both of the featured answers be wrong? This isn't the first time I hear "Europe" or "Asia" being accepted as an answer, despite being wrong.

For me S14 is probably the only one I disagree with, I would go with S14E89, despite Paul’s 23 catch being a higher catch, that run of 7 in 26 seconds was really fast for that series and it was a genuine edge of your seat moment. Not a manufactured close finish where Brad reads a series of very long questions to fill up the time. Other than that I’d agree with them all.

I think the fact that there’s three honourable mentions just goes to show there was a lot of great finals in Series 14. One final that I find quite underrated is Series 14 Episode 47 and it’s a Shaun Wallace final. Without going into too much detail, because I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t seen it, let’s just say he ‘defied the odds’.

@@thegoodlife6172what you’ve gotta remember (and it’s something that I struggle to stop beating myself up over) is that you can’t get the correct answer if you haven’t heard of it before. I’d never heard of Ben Gurian airport until he said it and won £80,000 because of it. It may be common knowledge to someone like you, perhaps you travel to different places a lot though. I think there’s a lot of deciding factors that make people like that final a lot. To start with, that singular pushback made all the difference because it was one to catch with 4 seconds remaining and she got the last question in just in time, so if he hadn’t got it, he’s caught on the buzzer. Highest solo win, of course, as well. I’m fairly sure Jenny also staged a big comeback of sorts? I think she had something like 13 to catch with 1:11 remaining, someone please correct me if I’m wrong on that. From a stats point of view, it has its merits.

It makes me laugh when they're asked a question that describes 'bi or tri' anything. It's patently 2 or 3 no matter what the subject!
