Apples are not mentioned in the oldest versions of the Bible. Forbidden fruit is. We chose to believe it to be a common well known fruit. Yet Eden supposedly being in Africa, the likelihood of it being an Apple over another fruit isn't good. 😊

And thinking about it, a banana hasn't the same poetic or prose appeal compared to an apple! Forbidden fruit could've be any fruit grown in the region there at that time of history. Forbidden due to being more of a temptation and obedience test in the bible story?
