The main issue is that he's really was not very good at fishing for kings in this video. He doesn't know how to find fish and thought the issue was his line being visible. That's not it. Chinook aren't line shy. He's one of the guys who goes out to a spot where people have caught fish and just trolls all day hoping to get lucky. He's also really handicapped by the fact he is on a kayak with a mini downrigger. I limit my boat most every trip for chinook. You have to know where to find them and be able to put a bait in front of them. Chinook often hug bottom because the bait stays near structure, but he can't even get there with his equipment.

I may be one of your only viewers who has heard of ochazuke and even eaten it several times. My mother is Japanese, born and raised in Hiroshima. She fed us ochazuke all the time, and she always made it for us when we didn't feel well as kids. To this day, I love genmaicha tea and it's a staple in my house. Love the flavor of the roasted rice and tea together. Your ochazuke looked great, and I could tell Jocelyn enjoyed it! Congratulations, Taku on your first salmon of the season!! Oh, and by the way, those whales were amazing! I can't believe how close they were to you. Awesome video!!❤️🌹
