I think some of the celeb specials are staged a bit, for drama purposes. Like when Anne was chasing a 7 on a celeb special, and she is telling us that she won 2nd best female quizzer on the planet, and didn’t know what sport Anthony Joshua plays???

⁠@@hazza_builds753After rewatching that final, I’m more than convinced Anne was just trolling the poor celebrities and dragging the final on for as long as her reputation would’ve been able to take. After all, once they set 7, the whole final chase was treated moreso as a joke anyway, with David Haye and Bradley bringing up the “lick you all over” comment again before they brought Anne back out 💀

I’ve just realised how much of a dirty question it is at 2:39 because George III ruled from 1760 to 1820 so you’d think it was 60 years but because of the months, it was only 59 years, which is probably why Anne said 3 instead of 2.

While under pressure the mind tends to block information, it's why the track questions of asking extremely basic questions almost always works no matter the chaser. When you're in quiz mode you're not expecting questions like what is 5×3

Here would be an unlikely set of celebrities for the chasers to take on ( not least on the grounds that some or all of them are now deceased ) : Bertrand Russell, Roger Penrose, Antonia Fraser and " Harry Cross," re `Brookside.` I never realized how good looking Rachel Riley is. Not that I`d kick the lass dressed in red out of the way in order to get to Bradley.

This episode would’ve been recorded in 2021, I assume you’re referring to the age of Billie Eilish currently, which means two years ago she would’ve been 19 and technically a teenager? I could be completely wrong though.

As of writing this comment, Olivia Rodrigo is *20* and Billie Eilish is *21* (albeit turning 22 in literally a day’s time). When Olivia Rodrigo released “traitor” in August 2021, she would’ve been *18* and Billie Eilish would’ve been *19* (hadn’t aged up yet). It’s worth noting that the boundary for someone being called a “teenager” is often quite fuzzy. Some sources say you exit teenagehood at 18, as that’s the legal age of majority in most countries, while others say you only exit teenagehood at 20 when you come out of the teens (a few may even go so far as to say you are both a teenager and an adult at 18-19). Either way, if they’re classing Olivia Rodrigo as a “teenage singer” at 18, then clearly Billie Eilish would’ve also been a possible answer *_at the time,_* as the adjudicators have evidently classified teenagehood as 13-19 for this question. Of course, Eilish is not the _correct_ answer, as it was indeed Rodrigo who released the song “traitor”.
