Finally a quick easy way to describe timing! Timing has always been a dark art to me.. lol I just get the motors and run them as is!

Hello, Hard to guess as a brushed motor life depends very much on how it gets used/driven/setup.

I have the 555..? If I run counter rotation, would I then set the timing opposite towards negative direction for more speed? Thanks.

how much more torque does the 540 40t have ovr the 540 30t?

Does it have a internal fan?

How does this 30t motor compare to a standard 27t Tamiya 540 motor speedwise? Both motors run at 14000rpm, so are they comparable?

Hello, We have not compared them directly, but chances are these would be an improvement across the board.

More torque then Surpass Crawler 20t 550 5 slots??

Where are the bearings located at? Which end?

Either end same as a brushless

No less, or more than any other brushed motor. Water always tends to shorten any brushed motors life.

Hi friend. My Hackmoto V2 13T motor rotation direction label says counterclockwise. But my Vanquish VS4-10 Phoenix crawler transmission rotates in reverse when pulling forward in the transmitter. Is it ok to just reverse the motor wires without damaging the motor to make the transmission move forward when applying throttle in the transmitter?
