Great video and the first time that i saw a video how to do a professional soldering job on an ESC. Even after more then 20 years in this hobby i'm still happy to learn some new tricks and tips from the pro's :-)

Is the 1650kv and 1100kv a delta or wye wind, I was wanting the xlx2 but didn’t know if I could just use the motors or not

How do you program without using programmer?

Can you solder the wires standing straight up?

Hi, how do you reset the data logging? Moved esc to another car with other motor, old values are not usefull anymore. And would be nice as monitoring after each run. Thx!!

Factory Reset should clear it.

Can the xr8 pro handle a 3.5t motor.

I have this combo coming soon and as someone who has never soldered this gives me confidence to do all of this. Question I will also use male XT90 to connect to LIPO's female XT90 but how do I connect the female XT90 on LIPO to the charger that has a smaller female XT60 port? Advice would be really appreciated.

Would this b the same way to set the xr10g2?

VERY informative and thoughtful! Cant wait to see tuning the timing and turbo as I have never used nor had a brushless setup and even on brushed I never messed with timing... I’m seriously looking at the Xr8 pro esc with a 3660 g2 3200kv motor for bashing and occasional racing with a 4x4 sct (Tekno 410.3 sct)... any tips would be helpful and great as it will be my first sct and race rig

could you please let me know if the xr10 pro g2 can use lihv batteries?? i know i can charge them at normal voltages but will it accept 7.6v? i cant find much info on this... thank you!

Can be set to your desired voltage in .1 v steps.

@@HOBBYWINGOfficial I just bought this xr8 pro g2. I was going to use it for no prep drag. Your tech is saying it will damage the MOSFETs using V10 1/10 motors. And the tuning isn't supported help

I just bought and installed a Hobbywing XR8 pro. We have gone through calibration of neutral, throttle and brake. Once that’s done the ESC blinks green 4 times then starts blinking red. Batteries are fully charged. I do not have a programmer. What am I doing wrong?

Hi, Is it possible to download the logs in a text format? I love that it logs, but find it difficult to review on my phone. Would be cool if I could get them on my PC. (I have the OTA jobby) Cheers

Hygiene.

Sooooo, i hate soldering had a F'n hard time, my ESC got warm cuz i left it on to long,was afraid to turn it on,i SAID f it plugged a battery in,it turned on,it's ok,right? (The esc)

Install was easy. Calibration is another story, it doesn’t work!

You think they'll be good in a drag car with a 1/10 scale motor

It does not work… It won’t fit in the gap and it keeps unsticking
