This was awesome! Very truly Tolkienian Dwarf. They took themselves and their culture very seriously and really didn't much like they way the merry Elves made fun of them for being so serious about things the Elves found strange or ridiculous. I can just imagine these guys listening to The Hobbit and suddenly saying, "Huh. The Dwarves were very musical in exile. What kind of songs do you think the Dwarves sang while shaping Khazad-dum? Let's write something!" Beautifully done in every aspect!
Who knew a joke in Minecraft 10 years ago would one day become this. Gamers have been singing this song for ages and its great to see people outside the Minecraft community being introduced to this epic song.

Happy to see the profundity of the chorus lyrics receive the recognition it deserves 😂 Anyway, this actually reminds me of that one Breakdown vid where an expert in historic warfare rates battle scenes in fantasy movies, and his critique essentially boils down to how, instead of the nonsense presented in the movies, every available hand would've been digging trenches.
Arguably the deepest song on the internet. I approve. 😂
I would love to hear Elizabeth do an opera interpretation of Diggy Diggy Hole!
Despite the silly lyrics, I thing this song actually does a fantastic job of covering basically all fantasy dwarfs. They take themselves seriously, they are focused on hearth and home, they love to create and mine, and aren't too fussed about things that are way beyond their reach. I think that both the original and this song for different things.

wind rose is awesome !!!
There used to be a Medieval Rock Party every month in a club back here in Germany. This song in its original form (and Dragonborn) was played everey single time. The guests were even given dwarf caps and prop picks for the dance. It was a funny tradition 😊
I got everyone in my office hooked on this song, the chorus is so catchy and you can't help but sing along.
The crossover event we needed
There is something special about our hostess both enjoying the music and completely cracking up.
This is the musical expression of the dwarf zeitgeist. This music should be piping through the steam pipes in every Dwemer city in Skyrim. Another song that I think does this encapsulation of the spirit of a myth is Atlantis, by Donovan. There's a wistfulness threaded through the grandeur that foreshadows disaster to come. It's not even a very serious song, but it's so effective.
Wind Rose is one of my favorites! They were the band that first got me into metal, with this song, as a matter of fact. But as fun as this one might be, they have some pretty epic tracks as well, including "Wintersaga," "King Under the Mountain," "Returning Race" (more of a Progressive sound to this one), and their recent "Gates of Ekrund." FORGED IN FIRE: Didn't that show feature Ilya Alekseyev of the channel That Works? I watch That Works all the time, along with Kyle Royer Knives. If you like Forged in Fire, you really should check these channels out as well. Kyle makes some GORGEOUS weapons.
That was so cool! 🙂 I did not think of Middle Earth dwarves, but had the Discworld dwarves before my mind's eyes. 🙂 What a catchy tune and with very fun percussion, too. 🙂

they stream d&d sessions on twitch, check for the link in the video description ;)
Love that you costumed up for this one! And WOW, I didn't expect you to nerd out so much for this! (no idea why it surprised me) You're channel just continues to. Get better and more fun!
I love the adoration that emanates from you as you watch this video. I've listened to this song so many times even my 70+ year old mother loves this song. She is amazed by the drummer's relentless performance. I'd listened to the original version of this song a few times before this version was released and as soon as I saw it it was an instant play. I bet this song has made Wind Rose balloon in popularity. They have certainly earned it.
They are gorgeous! They probably have the whole album and all the songs are just as folk, epic, melodic and powerful. After them, there is always a desire to play something fantasy, about adventure.
I already smell this is going to be a masterpiece. Elizabeth is gorgeous as Always, Love her reactions/analysis for Metal songs ! And Once again, congratulations Napalm for 2M Edit : masterpiece it was
Im subscribed to the charismatic voice and I clicked on this thinking she uploaded it but she didn’t Napalm did which is really freaking cool
Just. Wow. This person is a GIFT. Such energy. Such pandemical happiness. I think it's the first reaction video I have ever watched, where I was as impressed by the reaction as by the song. And I DIG this song!
my Husband loves this group and this song and my 3 yr old granddaughter LOVES this song... she sings along... diggy diggy hole... she loves it
Now Elizabeth needs a million subs

It shouldn't take her long. I subbed to her channel when she was under 10k subscribers. It's been crazy watching how fast her channel has grown.

@@Patryn71 Agreed
A song that originated from the Minecraft culture is not something I would have expected to see here. But it does give me a lot of good memories from ten years ago. Edit: wait this is not the charismatic voice channel

I was surprised too, then I realized that it’s the third biggest song on Napalm’s channel

Yeah, I only realized it wasn't her channel when I looked at the comments and saw hers
I always have to watch when you show up in the feed. Seeing the excitement and enjoyment you get from so many genres is what music should be about. Bringing the knowledge of what certain singers are doing just adds to it for me
I always love seeing her geeking out about the stuff I adore as well! That lights up my 8hours of work! :D
Good pick. Wind Rose is great, Cavalieri is like 90% lungs.
Love how she so casually was making a handful of LOTR/The Hobbit references throughout the video without making them feel forced. That and the fact that she plays DND 👍
This song has been on my playlist for so long now. I'm glad to see you do this one.
I have heard this song a million times and I STILL cracked up when you laughed at the first chorus, ahahaha - your joy, as always, is infectious
So we get a Wind Rose _and_ a Linkin Park reaction on the same day?? Truly a blessed morning, this.
REAL MANS SONG

It's the opening to my hiking playlist when I do multi day camping/hiking trails, because it's so powerful
Thank you so much ! Love your work ! :) A pleasure to hear u !
I absolutely love your reactions and facial expressions. And I also adore how you can explain the details of music and songs so even dumdums like me can understand it. Keep being you.
I love how Napalm has been embracing the reactor community. Here's to hoping they keep it up.
Wait is this a crossover episode?? Love it!!!
Wind Rose are an amazing band so happy to get to see how they tick :)
I honestly love her to bits. She's fun, she is open to all genres, great explanations and she get's into it..
My dnd character's name is" Baldr Steeltoe". He is a dwarf and I've always imagined this as his theme 🤣
You should check out Bloodywood. They are unique, from India, presenting their traditional instruments and their songs are on quite human subjects.
love Wind Rose love Elizabeth love Napalm such a great winning combo o7 to all!
i love all your facial expressions and reactions! this is my first time listening as well and doing it alongside you was fun
