The Challenges of Raising Two Ausome Kids

Raising one child with autism is hard enough for parents, so imagine the struggles of an ausome mom who is raising two. Diane Urbando talks to us about those struggles and how she fights through to be the mom her ausome kids need.
Lifelife joins forces with ausome parents this April for Autism Awareness Month to promote neurodiversity and inclusivity through stories that explore the experiences of people with autism.

I feel the fear and anxiety of a loving and strong mother. Any adult knows how harsh the world is and having an ausome child, even more children triggers a lot of emotions for the unknown and dark tomorrow. Even if we see these kids as ausome, reality could hit hard. I am glad that the world is somehow acknowledging, understanding and accepting that we have individuals and neighbors who needs the whole community's kindness. I hope to see that one day we could have More laws to protect them and public access to different support system

This is the reason why we did this video. The founder of Mylo Speech Buddy wanted to raise awareness.

@@dianebarbaraubando3903thank you more for sharing your story and being vulnerable so we can all hope for a better world to the ausome community. Take a breather and dont carry all the burden that comes along with the situation. Always remember your kids are uniquely ausome and they are strengtened by an ausome parent with an ausome love
