Professor Larry Diamond is the Mosbacher Senior Fellow of Global Democracy at the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies at Stanford. Professor Michael McFaul is the director of the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies at Stanford University. Dr. Abbas Milani is the faculty director of the Hamid and Christina Moghadam Program in Iranian Studies at Stanford University.
With more than 30+ panel talks, 24 roundtables, 50+ speakers, and more than 100+ experts and civil society activists, the conference explored challenges and pathways of transitioning from the Islamic Republic regime in Iran to a secular democracy. Inspired by the Woman, Life, Freedom movement in Iran, the conference convened a diverse set of thought-leaders, experts, and civil society activists to support dialogue and discourse around the establishment of a new democratic system of governance in Iran.

    I am also disheartened how the Feminist and Me2 movements in the West have remained silent about the brutal treatment of the Women's Revolution in Iran.

    Supporting a democratic breakthrough in Iran means that the US has to pivot once that happens and see Iran as an ally rather than an enemy. Can that happen? I hope so.

    You cant compare iran with any other countries we dont have west and world support just like as ukrine ,cause we dont have voice in world regime bands us from everywhere We young people of iran not only fight with regime we fight with world cause supporting islamic republic , our regime soldiers and their gunshots , even we are fighting with our parents old and conservative thoughts 😢😢 i wish God give us power so we could win and make a better future for ourselves ❤❤Ameen
