best chair ever! i've had this chair for the same amount of time (6-7months) and I can say it has corrected all of my sitting problems. I've been plagued with lower back and butt pains for years because of improper posture in sitting and after a week of using this chair, I've noticed that the pain i've had for so long slightly diminshed from time to time. I do get that it's a very expensive chair for this kind of problem, but i've never had that pain subside even from other office chairs, so for me it was worth it. Plus 100 points to the minimalistic, elegant and timeless design!

It truly does take care of the lower back well doesn't it? You have the same model with the posture fit? I'm curious what the other models feel like without the posture fit. I bought the Atlas Headrest recently. I'm still determining if I like it more with or without.

This chair corrected my bad sitting posture. It fixed my back. Best furniture purchase I have ever made.

This is the best Aeron review I’ve seen. A lot of people are turned off by the restrictive seating aspects of the chair, but fail to realize that those aspects are worth it long term. The Aeron’s supportive features were almost like magical healing powers on my posture/back. I similarly look forward to sitting in my Aeron every day. I’ve had it for several months and despite people saying to get the Embody or the Gesture or blah blah I just love my Aeron. If you have another 200 bucks please look into the Atlas headrest. It is a beautiful aftermarket headrest for the Aeron that suits the chair perfectly and is made with the same materials.

This was an incredible review, thank you so much. I've thought about getting for a while - I really need good lumbar support - and now I'm convinced. All the best to you!

We had this chair at my previous workplace and I've never wanted to bring a chair home so badly. My take is that if you don't notice the chair and nothing hurts after 8+ hours of sitting on it, then it's a damn good chair.

Great review! I would highlight what you mention about the sizes. Spot on! I'm 6'1'' and have a C, and a B would be too small. This is the chair for taskers!

The Xiaomi Yuemi Office Chair is also another good ergo chair for it's price. Has all the bells and whistles you'd expect from ergo chairs. After using it for a year, I have been enjoying it.

Always love your video reviews because they're honest and very relatable. P.S. The sections in this video where you are shown talking seem to be out of focus. Not really distracting, but it was worth noting I think. Looking forward to more videos this 2022! More power! :)

Yes! I am and edge sitter when I game. This chair accommodates that and fully supports in that super upright posture! Then it lets me lean all the way back from that position during a rest. Now I never feel like I was sitting for long!

I got the Aeron from CWC Cebu for 68k. I am using it for couple of days only but never had the back pain issue. However, it is firm on the seat mesh and makes my thighs and butt a little numb, but I will stand up to relieve it. I asked the sales agent that this is normal, since I did not experience the thigh pain when testing their office display. Will update comment soon.

One thing I realized only now was I myself need my elbow resting on something to type. The difference for me I have my keyboard and mouse all the way deep into the table (around 40-50cm deep on a 75cm deep table). Its also why I use deskmats that are at least 50cm deep so the edge matched the edge of the table.

Absolutely love this chair! I was initially looking to get a Secretlab Titan, as I thought that replacing my cheapo office chair with a high-end gaming chair would be a good idea. However, after watching multiple honest and unbiased reviews, I soon realised that it's not something I should waste my money on. Then I started looking into ergonomic office chairs and came across multiple Herman Milller chairs. I decided to buy the Mirra 2 after testing it out at my friend's office. I loved everything about it, however the seat pan was a bit too small for my thunder thighs and it caused me leg pain over time. So I sadly ended up returning that. Then I decided to pull the trigger for the Aeron and I finally found the perfect chair for me. The size c variant ticks all the right boxes and doesn't cause me any back or leg pain.

Hey Adam! Good to hear from you again! Yes I have tried the embody at the store. It's difficult to tell if I like that more than the aeron. I just feel like the aeron is the "safer choice" aestherically and comfort wise. I don't think you can recline as leisurely with the embody.

Yup got this two days before this video. Have to reckon that this is one chair rules all. Expensive but worthy investment.

Great gaming, work, and audio listening chair. Although it's not recommended for everyone. It's a chair that really has to be tried before purchase.

I was actually looking into this but went for the SAYL instead based on practicality. Went to the showroom and found that the Aeron really does force you to a certain position which is great but because of the price its something I will consider down the line. For the unusual table height maybe a keyboard under table tray would help. I recently bought the no drill (clamp) tray and so far happy with it. Should be able to accommodate your table thickness as well.

The Sayl is a good looking option and sometimes I even like it more aesthetically than the Aeron. Yup! I have been planning to get the under tray however I'm afraid it might ruin the aesthetics of my desk :P So, I'm willing to sacrifice a little comfort and ergonomics for looks haha.

Had the same decision process and ended up getting the SAYL. Plus I'm more comfortable with a cushion seat vs a mesh one. At first my back pain is not improved that much but it's all gone now after adding a foot rest and a keyboard tray to my setup

If aeron is number 1. what is rank 2 for you sir? planning to buy an ergonomic chair this month but aeron is too expensive

Since Aeron is above my budget I bought Sayl instead. Did not regret it best investment and it cured my backpain. A good chair is essential to me as I work from home. Though I hope it has headrest

A company called Atlas I believe might be in the process of making one for the Sayl. I think the Sayl looks much more attractive than the aeron anyday!

Same thing here man... I'm using one for about 10 days now. The first week was painful. Now the only thing I would complain are the armrests. I wanted them to be higher. But my shoulders are getting used to.

Does the classic vintage lombar support worth it?

Mad jelly on this one, I bought the m57 and it does lack on some things but its a good chair.

Have you thought about raising the height of the chair so that the arm rests are aligned with the desk? You can then solely use the foot rest as your "floor" so that your legs are at the right angle. Your arms should be at around a 80-90 degree angle at the elbow.

Aeron or EMBODY? Also what size is that Aeron

Just realized we got more options there back in the Phil. or we can get stuffs in a more reasonable price, reason being we are close to where it is being manufactured. Here in Canada price is a bit hefty, almost a quarter more expensive than what are you guys are going to pay there in Asia.

I've had my Aeron for almost a year now and it gets super dusty very quickly, especially on the base just below the seat. But otherwise it's the best chair I've had.

Can you also do a review or recommendations on foot stools? I currently have an inflatable one and my feet still can't flatly lay on it (short girl problems). A year later comment and maybe you fixed this already but your desk is too high.. needs to be in line with arm rests a bit.. either raise the chair which opens up other problems like feet not flat on the floor or attach something to the desk to allow you to put the keyboard lower than the desk but in line with armrests

Your desk is too high and your Aeron should be lower to stop your legs from hanging off the front. Also would recommend the atlas headrest.

this video makes me wonder how you would rate a herman miller embody :)

the embody is best for people in countries with a low humidity and temperature. In humid south east asian countries like msia, singapore, indonesia and philippines, it gets hot fast and worst of all is the fabric of the embody gets whitish or brownish stains over time, unlike the aeron mesh. For durability, the aeron is still better in tropical countries, same goes for its better breathability.

Really good review! Just a recommendation for next time, make sure you pull focus onto your face, it bugged me the whole video hahaha

I bought it with 3 other friends. Cwc had an offer before of buy 4 and take 1 free. Regular price was P80,000 then.

To achieve true ergonomic, first understand the principle of workstationergonomics. Buying the most expensive chairs wont help if the user doesnt understand the correct sitting postures, correct workstation setup, and principles behind it. I only spent 3k with my office chair (2nd hand most simple ergonomic chair ) , yet I can sit on it the whole day without any strains.

Great video, btw. Very detailed. Personally, I find the Aeron too restricting. Granted, you have to sit healthy. But reality wise, this is not always the case. You have to be "comfortable" while being ergonomic. The Haworth Fern is cheaper and is so much more "responsive" and moves with you without compromising on the ergonomics. I literally locked up the Aeron in the basement because of the Haworth Fern. (Ok, I'm sounding like a fan boy. Lol) Anyways, let me know if you wish to do a vid between the aeron, fern or/and Embody. I'll be happy to lend them to support your channel.

I bought an Aeron chair about a year ago and my wife HATES me for it. See I have this problem w/ farting grim reapers out of my ass and w/ my old chair there was no mesh just a solid cushion so the smell wasn't so bad. With the mesh, my farts have zero resistance and my wife gets the full force of my grim reapers to the point where she's now threatening divorce me unless I get a different chair. I call my farts Grim Reapers because they smell like DEATH. I thought i'd leave my feedback here as something to think about if you have farting issues like me.

You make a good point. Actually one of the good things about a mesh chair is how gas just naturally flows out. I can't help you with your marriage though :p

Each on its own. If you put too much of an effort building a custom desktop with all the RGB for aesthetics AND earn your living through a computer, then a chair is probably one of the most important factors in your workspace. Kelvin is right; consider 5-10yrs of continued daily use. Exceptional chairs like Herman Miller are an investment. Graphics card on the other hand are something you replace every 2yrs once a newer more powerful model becomes available and still, you'll still have to consider the CPU, monitor and other components. Between the two, I'd say graphics cards shouldn't cost as much as quality, well built chair. Secretlab Titan series are decent alternatives. You get adjustability, lumbar support and excellent build quality. They have very firm seats though, which is very very very tough to seat on for long hours or years of use. Flexispot & Stance PH seem to have great ergo chairs available for more than half the price of the Aeron. I haven't tried them personally so I can't really comment. Might be something you wish to consider.

invest in your health, the aeron may be expensive.. but it can save you from going to the chiropracter and doctors in general. gaming chairs are trash and will give you pain. for instance, i have a razer iskur and i absolutely hate it. my tailbone in particular suffers pain after 1 hour of sitting. the aeron size c hugs me like a cloud

Yup, it's hard shooting solo with the telemprompter. I can't see if it's focused in or not. I'm also wondering why the fujifilm camera I'm using also just doesn't autofocus on my face.
