Thanks for this, I have really enjoyed the film of the book. There is so much great Catholic art and literature, all good for the soul, it's good to reintroduce these into popular culture.
If you can, watch the superb mid 80s British TV adaptation of this wonderful book with a fantastic cast led by Sir Alec Guinness playing Monsignor Quixote & all filmed on location in Spain. A masterpiece.

I have read this book.
compagnero means "Comrade" there is a wonderful chiasmus a interchange of intimacies Quixote has refused up to this point to call Sancho Comrade because of the political overtones
