Many actors use short term memory to learn lines. They can't remember long term because they have to constantly move on to the next script.

Yup! I answered almost all correctly! That is some addiction I have really! And I don’t even feel bad! I mean how wonderful is Sam Heughan! Young Ian is such a good actor. Totally different in person from what his role is in outlander!

They said those lines years ago and they've said tons of lines since then. They memorize the scripts and move on to the next. They don't have the time to watch their show over and over again. Many fans of us course, have.

I should get back into this show, but I just can't with Roger. Not the actor, he does a good job, but Roger as a character just reeks of possessive toxic masculinity. Jamie is secure masculine with much more mature emotional health.
