This show has been so so encouraging in ways that have been needed in society today. Incels are so stigmatized now, but Ben showed that when you "neg" teenage girls, and call other guys "beta" to show off your machismo and toxic masculinity, that *you too* can end up getting a nice ethnic girl as a prize. Thank you "Never Have I Ever'!

When a guy that is literally racist to a girl (or did you forget McEnroe said that?) but keeps on tagging along, he can get out of the "friendzone" by trying to kiss her multiple times when she doesn't want to, talk big about "private jets" and being "all in" but getting bitter and rude when there are any speedbumps in the relationship, switching over to date the other Indian girl at school for a while (expecting her to be the same, because all Indian girls are interchangeable, right?), ... and **voila** the entitlement to her body and an intimate relationship is complete! Usually the "bad boys" get the girl, but this show is so great to show being a "nice guy" and taking The Red Pill works!

The ending was perfect as it close a chapter to not only Devi’s story but all the characters in the show. I can’t believe how far they have come from beginning of this show to the end. I’m going to miss show but hopefully there will be spin-off in the future.

I don't like Paxton's ending. He went from being the hot guy who was popular to someone who actually cared about school. I was really impressed by his character's growth at that point. Then he broke up with Devi, without putting any effort into saving their relationship. Then he goes to College, doesn't like it and drops out after two weeks, which really disappointed me, cause I thought he had grown past that. When he does come back, he's no longer cool, just some loser and rightly so. I had hope he and Devi might give their relationship another go, but nope. At the end, he's dating Lindsay, the SUBSTITUTE TEACHER !! Some might say he got a good ending, but for me who saw he grew during Season 2 and 3, it felt regressive and sad to watch him go through that. The show is over and it's done, just feel he deserved better than that. Team Paxton forever ☝️❤️

I think it'd be too much like the Joey from friends spinoff. Joey was a great character when he was surrounded by all the other friends characters, but on his own it flopped. I think Trent would be the same.

Jaren Lewison says that the love confession scene (and the ensuing few scenes) is one of his proudest accomplishments in his career to date, and we could see just how much in this video. He really knocked it out of the park this season, especially in this finale. Can’t wait to see where he takes his career next.

I immediately started sobbing when Ben showed up at the wedding. It was just the most beautiful ending. The finale was perfect. I'm happy to see the cast is so proud of their work and of this show, as they should be.

This show has done everything right. The writing, the casting, everyone felt comfortable in the production and they even had a nice ending. Not overdone. Not ended too early. Lots of inclusivity, lots of the show not taking it self too seriously but serious when it had to. Perfectly done. Kudos to the whole crew.

Jaren loves that I love you scene you can tell it means a lot to him. I wanted to see their reactions to that love scene that follows but they glossed over it lol.

To be honest, I wouldn´t be able to watch these scenes with all the other characters.. :D but seeing Jaren proud of Ben and their scene makes me sobbing :-)

Scenes of devi and her mom flashbacks of devi and her dad the grief of her dad and in the final season the speech of the principal where she said that devi grew so much really made me ugly cry I'm gonna miss this show so much keep crying like a baby

We want to see Jaren in more projects in a series as the protagonist wow I'm hallucinating but this actor captured me in this series

soooooooo bittersweet watching the ending of NHIE :'( i loved this show more than words and every time i try to explain this show to recommend to someone, i fumble, but i just tell them to WATCH IT!!! no regrets at all, so much laughter and crying over the years. i can say this is one of the best shows of my life, as someone who has terrible attention span and it's a feat for me to finish a series. i really will miss this entire cast together, and i hope they'll continue to give us more and more behind the scenes stuff because i don't want to let go yet
