I appreciate how into it the interviewer was, she seems like a huge fan and had so many questions, but she is interrupting so much!

sadly there's a time limit that's why better to get many questions and topics across than to let them ramble and than end up only asking one or two questions in total before abruptly ending the interview

Saoirse and Florence deserve the world.

Florence needs to win an oscar.

@@xxcris20xx Personally I didn't think so. I found her child voice was was the most mature out of all of them so I found it really hard to keep imaging her as the younger one when she sounded like a 30 year old.

Yeah, it was so sweet. I think flo had a head ache which is why she rubbed her arm and flo wasn’t talking as much.

This was honestly one of the smartest films I’ve ever seen. I hope Greta continues on her streak of great films:)

I wish this interviewer had had more time. She was really prepared and had some amazing questions.

@@thebestofus1538 it was a bandana/scarf that he had tied around his wrist that greta didn't like lol so theres a cut where he doesn't have it anymore :) but I agree she changed the topic of the question like 3 times while asking them!

timothee didn’t say that one of them could do an impression of him very well, he said saoirse probably could??????

The interviewer asked about the flower and then never followed up on an answer? Has Greta talked about it in any other interview? I want to know about the flower!! (Because in the words of Greta Gerwig, I *am* that nerdy lady and I want to know every little detail that went into the film...) Also, I love that Florence says that’s “like women usually” in response to the wrestling and other on-set shenanigans.

Amy Li absolutely! I couldn’t believe it. She started out with this amazing question that was specific and new and then she didn’t stick with it. I, like you, truly want to know about the flower and every other detail as well. Same thing with Timmy’s anachronistic accessory. She mentioned it was a watch and Timmy said that it wasn’t exactly a watch. He was seconds away from saying what it was (something I don’t believe he has said in any interview) and she ran roughshod onto something else that has been talked about and written about ad nauseam, Saoirse and Timothée swapping clothing throughout the film. Also, I just have to say this because when Greta said that that’s why they were going to remake Newsies with Timothée, I about died. It was my favorite movie and I fell completely in love with Christian Bale because of and through that gem of a movie. It made me so very happy to hear Greta mention that classic!

Filayevna I think the watch thing was actually a bandana; Timothee talked about it in another interview when he was asked about his fashion sense and the costume design. If I find it again I’ll link it here, but basically the amazing costume designer Jacqueline Durran would give him a few choices and he could mix and match in his trailer. One day he tied the bandana around his wrist, asked the costume designer if it was okay, and she said it was. They shot several takes/filmed for awhile before Greta noticed and told him to take it off, and Timmy was just worried about continuity. 😂

It's not her looks, it's her voice (deeper and raspier than most younger ladies) and demeanor...if you couldn't see her, you'd think it's an interview with a woman in her mid 30s or 40s. She could tell me she's a 16 year old that sounds 35, or a 35 year old who still looks like she's in her teens, and i'd believe either one.
