This woman’s narcissism was her downfall. All of those tacky photos of her in her sunglasses gave the PI alllll the information he needed to know.

There’s one where a woman solves the case by pretending to be helping the killer find his missing wife, even fakes romantic interest in him briefly to get further. In the end he does lead her to the body, pretending to find his wife randomly, and the case is solved because she’d begun working for the police and they had her recording it. I am totally blanking on the name though, but I think it should be a movie…it’s pretty cool when the private investigator is able to do what the cops can’t (or won’t).
That's one amazing private investigator. This guy should be on every cold case in the country.

She spent her own money, after this woman murdered her elderly mother, burned her body, and went to the bank, stealing all of her "under the mattress" money, hidden in her apartment and valuables. Just to have detectives finally tell her they already had them. This poor woman lived with the anguish of thinking no one cared, no one was looking into it, for nothing. Shame on the police as well. the freaking stitching lol. this is why I love these cold case shows. bravo
That private investigator who followed the clues in her sunglasses was amazing!! I am so impressed with him! It makes me sick that woman would be awarded money by the prison, but I'm sure she deserved the attack. Hopefully, her lawyers in the US and Russia get all of her awarded money.

$325,000 from NY, insane, what a system
So an illegal killer gets free room and board and 325K on top of that. There should be laws to prevent this. Disgraceful.
The two victims should sue Viktoria for damages and get that 'compensation' back to people who deserve it. All that happened to this criminal was she was beaten up but they have had their human right to live a peaceful life and so much more stolen from them by that psycho

Interesting how people who aren't from our country get paid out tremendously in finances for injustice but, citizens who have injustices done to them get much less or nothing. Why??? Where did that money from the settled go to after it was received?

Thank you for telling this intriguing story! I was so impressed with the PI! I was happy to see that she ended up at Rikers since it’s supposed to be the WORST conditions, but seriously she received $325K for a whooping she completely deserved???
So you're telling me that INTERPOL added her into their list and when a PI did the hard work of finding her and contacted them, they didn't want to take action?? What.

"I'm not a killer. I'm woman. Only woman." Wtf! There are so many things wrong with that statement, but given public biases, I can see why she would feel comfortable saying it.
The private eye is the hero in this case. Has to be one of the best in his profession. Major props. If not for him that pathetic excuse for a human being would still be out there. Karma in prison...

I’m with the prosecutor. The second I heard “I did not force her to eat it”, I thought the exact same thing. “I did not force her” implies she didn’t *have* to force her
She has the nerve to sue the jail for what she deserves and gets 325,000 probably the same if not more of what she stole from everyone. What a horrific case. Honestly brought a tear to my eye seeing the two friends at the end.

I don't feel sorry for the way they beat her in prison, she deserves worse with how she has harmed so many innocent people. Please ensure that Nadia gets some of the 300,000 dollars she was awarded. I love to see the puzzles put together by people smarter than the offenders. As in the sunglasses this person had on and the reflections in them. The person thought she was so cool but it helped solve this crime spree. I love all the cameras everywhere and cell phone info. Don’t do something you need to hide then you have no worry.

I am so sorry to hear what her victims went through. One hundred percent of that settlement money should go towards restitution! She isn’t even a citizen, and now taxes payers are paying for her settlement, on top of feeding and housing her for the next fifteen years! Or legal system needs to be evaluated, that restitution should go to the victims, and pay for the detectives, testing fees, and prosecution!

@@alexanderdavis9636 Very pro. Thinking though that these programmes are heavily edited and that he was actually told by Olga where (the area) Victoria lived in at the time. It's something she would have asked of a fellow countrywoman. Where do you live ? They were both single in New York city. Once you'd determined the type of car - you narrow down your search to the area Olga mentioned and you find it. Its good thinking, but still.
Victoria is an example of why you need to not trust anyone. It's a sad world we live in. And this woman is pure evil. I'm appalled at this whole story.

The friendship between the two victims is heartwarming. ❤
Damn she still managed to get $325k from the city…I hope the the victims take her to civil court.
Good work on the private detective's part. Often when watching these shows and the police sit on their hands or say they can't look for a missing person even when the family knows the person didn't willingly disappear, my thought is always, "Immediately get a private investigator before the clues are lost and the trail goes cold."
Good to see a story where detectives are really working and using clues to figure stuff out.
This woman's dedication to avenge her mother is amazing!! She may have a career man!!
I like that her pride and vanity got her caught.
