A few days ago, me and my friend accidentaly invented a new tactic. I was the T95 and he was L3. He stood near a wall and I wanted to prank him by squashing him so I backed up to the wall. The L3 got stuck in my tank but he was still alive. So I thought that he is a teammate and he can help with my repairs. We tried this 2 more times and it is so good. It significantly reduces the repair time on the T95 and it is fun to use. You should try this.

I easily defeated one that blasted me in my Strikemaster Jet, so an aircraft 2.0 BR lower in BR that should be easily shredded by radar SPAA. Nope, he failed and got bombed by me. SPAA is outclassed big time

Or for lower tiers you can try the zerstorer 45, ostwind 1 and 2 and wirbelwind anti cas lineup (or even anti tank role with this lineup)

​​@@costi4902 Whirbelwind is probably one of the best anti-CAS vehicles in the game tier-for-tier. It's my go-to SPAA when I need to get SPAA kills or shoot down planes for a battle pass challenge because it has the perfect balance of fire rate and damage. Granted, I haven't really used many other SPAA's, but I do know that anti-air vehicles with low fire rate and high damage like the M19A1 aren't as good at hitting planes, and anti-air vehicles with high fire rate and low damage like the M16 aren't as good at actually damaging the planes.

i think we should have grace for players.. surely you've been on the receiving end of a bad start to the match where you die instantly or even one where you die instantly, respawn and end up doing very good in another vehicle besides, this only punishes people like the avenger at the beginning of the game that died with little to no score. they're out of the match, but spookston already got his score, his SP and can spawn in a plane.

@@shronkler1994 you also haven't experienced the old system have you? You weren't able to get into a plane off of 1 kill. It took at least 2 tank kills to be able to repsawn in another tank, to get into a plane it took like 3 kills and a cap because bombers were like 1000sp and fighters were 600sp

So the "Leaks" are saying that in the next update, we're getting the Benelux (Belgium & the Netherlands) as a sub tree for France. I hope this is true, we can finally have the T13 tank destroyer, the T15 light tank, the SIBMAS (Belgian copy of the Ratel), the M39 Pantserwagen, the Boxer armored car, and so many aircraft too.

@@giomas3728 SPAA were a thing because there was also the "combined arms" mode for people who actually wanted to play planes with tanks . It became "ground battles" and the true ground battles mode has been removed .

The simple solution to fixing CAS in Ground RB is to make all aircraft (except heavy bombers which have a high SP cost) spawn at the airfield. Then, all it would take would be one person playing a fighter to have control of the battlefield airspace. Enemy fighters would then have to dogfight for CAS to have a chance of making it to drop their ordinance. Of course they would need to make the tickets last longer for this dynamic to take place lol.

another is to have CAS ordinance for anything but the proper dedicated bombers like the stukas or heavy bombers be extremely expensive spawn point wise, easily over 100 spawn points, allows fighters to spawn in cheaper than bombers as they do now but also not so much so that a fighter bomber can spawn in with a similar bombload to some of the weaker strategic/tactical bombers while also being cheaper and capable of defending themselves.

If you do that, the first fighter in the air basically makes his team win the skies automatically. Unless he seriously fucks up, you basically wouldnt be able to get off the airfield and gain the altitude or airspeed to challenge him, it'd be a free turkey shoot until he runs out of ammo.

Can probably do it in like 1 minute - 1:30 on that first map if he just rushed the A or C cap instead of driving for a whole minute around the map because that map spawns you so damn close to the battlefield when you're in an aircraft.

CAS needs either higher cost of SP or a limiter of how many planes can be up, I once had a match were most of my teammates where on planes with only like 3 or 4 tanks.

The BS with planes now is why I made some clear overlays for my monitor, with each one being for a specific AA vehicle. It lets me erase air from ~7-8km reliably with a single burst, long before they get into bomb range. 9-10km takes a few shots, but it works. Being the sky chemo is rewarding morally, if not fiscally. Thanks gaijiggles.

Going to be honest, watching your videos has made me better at the game. I know you like making funny videos, but you're the reason I started learning weak points and how to use over pressure. For example, I didn't know that the cheeks of a panther just past the gun mantle, were slapable. Hope you know that your content is helping some of us while we laugh which makes the learning process so much easier.

The Tables have finally turned, Spookston became the very thing he tried to destroy.

I’ve been able to spawn the French Corsair with 114 SNEBs and three 1000lb bombs with as little as two assists iirc

Fix CAS by giving all CAS players free therapy sessions to discover why they lack any empathy

When I think of going back to War Thunder, Spookston is always there to stop me.

Fastest CAS kill for me was from using the Jumbo 76 on a really small map and instantly got in a F8F with 1000lbs bombs. Took about 1m18s. Did them real dirty.

If there was a ground only option they wouldn't have anyone to speedbomb, as the only ones left playing 'combined battles' would be people just like themselves and the ones that need to kill planes with spaa for some task. Sidenote: God I wish I had the pak Puma.

I feel like if CAS became balanced it would make tanks more fun due to not being cas'd every 6 seconds but also make CAS kills feel more rewarding due to the bigger challenge

I think a way of fixing the CAS problem would be to add objectives outside the main play area, where you could complete objectives that help the team, give you points, and hurt the enemy, like destroying arty positions that would deny the enemy teams arty for awhile

You can also do it using reserve tanks and a longer bomb timer, and reloading at airfield, but yeah, anything fast and cheap to spawn works, they should just triple the cost of AtG munitions and halve the cost of AtA, plane in tank battle users cant complain about that.

M18 Hellcat, yolo rushes, spots like 3 people, spawns in plane, suicide bomb those three people, then again jumps back into that plane and continues to spawn camp the entire game. Thats been my experience. usually like 5-8 of them every game.

I'm a CAS player, and get your frustration, but I like spawning in planes for Ground RB. I think that there should be a separate mode, where you can from the get go jump into planes or ground vehicles, and play on a huge Sim style map , and have dynamic objectives to create team work and combined arms attacks.

Or even simpler, like a ground only gamemode. Buuut, you really don't want that because you're worried that pretty much all tank players will migrate to that and you;d be out of food. You know CAS is abusive, you like abusing it and you know the people's matches you end really don't like it because you're interrupting fun... but you don't want it to end. @@doktork3406 lol ok... I love zooming over the battefield providing support for teammates in distress, scouting the map and clearing objectives from hostiles. Nothing better than having a teammate mark a gridpoint asking for support and eliminating the threat. I don't find it overly abusive especially now with really powerful SPAA vehicles and bomb and rocket nerfs Ground pounding in Air RB doesn't offer this feel, as the battles are rarely dictated by ground forces anymore, and it's hard to actually get a good game in.

Theres hundreds of them in the game, and yet more than half of them are completely pointless to fly in the stale fighter TDM mode that is air RB. I fly planes, and fly them almost exclusively in GRB because I have fun finding, identifying, and dogfighting with enemy planes in a way that air RB doesnt provide. I literally couldnt give less of a fuck if you think im just playing to "abuse" it because im not. Im flying planes because I like flying planes, end of. I dont owe you or anyone else who refuses to learn to fly a plane well enough to come shoot me down anything. And yet im still perfectly capable of winning games in a tank as well. Dumbasses claim tanks take skill and planes dont while Ive been sitting in a 3.7 chaffee the last few days top 3 on the team in most of my games with a 5.7 lineup farming tiger 2s and shit because all these morons are so oblivious.

I have watched your content for about 2 years now and after playing the game for a bit, and listening to you and others talk, I fully agree planes ect are too easy to get into. I decided to try and limit myself because of how easy it is. Basically I wont get into a plane or heli untill I have at least 3+ of a combination of kills, assist, or caps. Ive also found the games are a lot more enjoyable. I typically am part of the second wave of CAS.

I’m glad you’re highlighting the whole cas bs with this experiment. I’d like to see a Pe8/Lancaster version of this to see how quickly and how easily you can get quadruple plus kills for pressing space bar over a cap after you cap rush in a BT.

We need another May Revolution like last year but this time about how insanely easy it is to spawn in CAS. I also wish there was just more historical accuracy in mid to high tier matches. I don’t want to see America and the USSR on the same team beyond the mid tier. I also want East and West Germany and Italy and Hungary on separate teams.

one time, i got a single *hit*, not a kill, not even an assist, not even a penetrating hit, i literally nonpenned a guy then died and got to spawn in a plane with a 1000 pounder. cas is busted man

Thanks for this man. I log in to do some matches and in 3 matches i get taken out by CAS, spawn spaa, move out of spawn, plane starts firing everything, my turret crew dies, I scramble for safety, bomb, I die. Spawn again in spaa, move an inch, plane starts spraying me, I get a package, i die. This happened twice in a row, the 3rd match was in a urban map so the skies weren't filled with planes.

You can get into a plane for one kill assist due to spotting. It is insane

I played with that 2.0 german SPAA car and the Narwhal Me-262 recently. Was very fun.

I mean... It seams like my teamates were doing this all my matches, leaving after 1 cap or kill and going into a plane at the start of the match.

One thing that would really help would be to just prevent air vehicles from spawning for the first like 3 minutes, at least, of a match.
