Exactly. I keep watching more. I am addicted. We all are addicted to something
this is a woman in a league of her own!! Did her family know that they were hurting her self image?? She's a prodigy of immense greatness?? Their both great talents. But Karen is very special!!Great drummer, singer, great beauty, what else can be said? One of a kind, one in a million talent !!!
just this.....her energy was in her love for the drums, the song, her brother and the reaction to the performance as a total. with very seious eyes ....she asked me after the show .."how was it.....did you like the show?".......of course it was wonderfull, and fortunate to be back stage after the show and meet her and richard, i responded ...."it was great, i really wanted to see your drum solo , being a former drummer" serious agai, those beautiful brown eyes looked back at me and said sioftly "did you like it .......?" i told her i was very impressed , and in some drummer luage metioned how her "double paradidle ...16 stroke snare drum rolls were tremendious " grabing my arm , pulling her close she exclaimed "thank you, thank you, thanku" and gave me this huge hug and a kiss on my cheek" her smile could have melted the entire north pole and my heart. standing close was richard , and karen called away for a quick newspaper interview , said to me "well, you sure made her evening" we talked awhile about the show in general , and the fact he and i both loved the beatles and fast cars. karen returns , and stands by herself as richard and i keep talking.......she is smiling and then the road manager says time to go,,,,we must leave another exit....too many crowded around back stage exit, she looks at me and says , come on, your going with us" again i told her how enjoyable the show was and she replys as she slips her arm in mine like being escorted ...."really glad you came" i said "so am i , tonight was the best part of the day. " at which she and others all laughed. then off to the limo .....rush.....folks found out their escape. before the limo drove away , karen leaned across the back seat to wave ,...with richard.......seeing me she gave that smile again , and finger to her lips blew a kiss ......i have kept that kiss in my h , with a passing angel.........nothing sader than , the possibility of what might have been,,,,,,,,, a moment of forever,,,,,,,thank you thank you , thank you , karen C..............
Karen at her peak....stunning in every way. God she really was something to behold...what an artist!
To this day , I’m a 62 Year old guy, Her voice sends shivers through My Body. A phenomenal Woman. God Bless Karen Carpenter. 🙏
I don't understand how you can have so much fame, talent, money, and beauty, and not be able to comprehend any of it. She was a one in a billion talent, and still didn't think she was good enough. Despite all the accolades and adoring fans. It just blows my mind.

It was ingrained in her growing up that she was just backup for Richard and an afterthought to her mother. Right there had the monstrous power to set her up to try the rest of her life to get control back. But I have yet to see such uncanny power in her death and legacy. Richard misses her every day.

Two words. Her mother. Went deep in her soul. Karen was an after thought to that dense woman.
She looked lovely here, so sad she didn't realise it.
Karen had a voice that sounded so mature, beyond her age, it was soothing, powerful, and so clear, unbelievable .
That voice, what a gift from God. There has never been a better female singer. What a beautiful woman, may she be at peace with God now.
You're my singer and my song,,, thanks so much Karen.....!
She's perfect here. Healthy looking, beautiful and a voice of an Angel. My favorite female vocalist of all time. I miss you so much, Karen. :(

She looks so lovely here really healthy and beautiful, why didn’t she think she was good enough, it’s so sad. At least we can still listen to her beautiful silky voice 💕
Great show! I had a blast! ❤
No need for FLASH, Lights, fancy dancers in the background, just pure talent, nothing like it today.

Now THIS is Karen Carpenter! So beautiful, and in full health! Simply untouchable. Why, oh why couldn't she see this. 😣
Perfection
Karen looks stunning here. She is a healthy weight, got a great figure and looks happy. If only her perception of herself could have matched this.
Just like fine wine, the Carpenters have aged really well. They are timeless.
She looked her absolute best here.
Thanx to everybody who puts live Carpenters shows on you tube...I had all the records when I was a teenager in the early 70's...but this stuff is.....toooo much....frankm62yroldwhitekid
The Carpenters were amazing! Beautiful music, beautiful lyrics sung by a beautiful voice from a beautiful lady.
She looks amazing, healthy. Wow. Love that color on her. This is how I want to remember her. Love them.
KAREN I MISS YOU...YOU PASSED AWAY WHEN I JUST WAS 18,,,, HERE YOU ARE ABSOLUTLY LOVELY AND I WILL REMEMBER THIS WAY
This is the first time I’ve seen footage of a live concert. She is phenomenal! Her voice is rich, full, smooth, and just like the albums. I was very young when she died. It broke my heart. It still does when I hear her sing
I love her voice and when she plays the drums ❤❤❤
Oh god this is so sad to watch shes stunning here perfect ! How horrible she thought she was too big !beautiful woman

Some ladies look just like ANGELS that have flown down from heaven ! WHEW ! I just haven't enough words to describe them !!!
She is the whole package ! Beautiful , talented and personable. The audience is in her corner.
Rest in peace and birthday greetings to Karen carpenter 3 2. Music seemed to lose feeling since your loss and others over the years since. Your voice was one of the sure comforts in American music miss you much
It's so good to see her looking healthy. If only she knew how good she looked, she'd probably still be with us.
Close To You. My favorite song of Karen..i missed ur sweet unique voice karen..one & only...
Agree with you all. Beautifully talented woman!!! Just love her speaking voice as well. She just had it all. And oh how you could see her absolute joy at playing drums!!! To this day, it’s now 2020, Karen is the only one who has made me actually cry. She makes you feel every note. She is my escape in this year (2020) filled with nothing but chaos and hatred. Thank you for being here for me once again!!!! She knows how much she is missed and loved!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
What a great singer she was.
THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VOICE I HAVE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE TO LISTEN TO - SO HEAVENLY SWEET, SO HEAVENLY WARM, SO CAPTIVATING. MY SENSES DRINK IT ALL IN.
An angel who touched the hearts of many people and forever will be irreplaceable. Miss you so much rest in peace Karen carpenter. You left this world too soon but your lovely velvety contralto voice never will. Rest in peace angel
Voice of an angel my beloved daughter and I used to listen to her and we still do 30 years later
Her voice has always sounded so powerful to me. Then I see documentaries where people would say how quiet her voice was. Now I understand what they mean. She started out so quiet I could barely hear her. After she got more comfortable she got a bit louder, but throughout the performance I can hear that hushed tone here and there. I so wish I could have seen them in concert. I was only 9 when Karen passed.

She also had a voice that was specialized for the microphone like Billie Holiday, unlike e.g. Maria Callas or Judith Durham.

What a great song. One can never get tired of listening to such melody. Every word is so soothing and it matches the great voice of Karen. All of her songs are created with greatest lyrics. Never will I get to hear better voice than this. We all miss Karen. Greatest songs of all time.
I Guess You Can Say, That I Have been in Love with, Karen Carpenter, since I was About 8 or 9 Years Old
Purest voice I've ever heard..Such a gorgeous woman.
i was an 8 year old schoolboy when i first heard karen carpenter and on that day i feel in love with her voice and also to her..i`m 50 years old now but i`m tirelessly listening to her
How could anyone not fall in love with Karen
What a Beautiful Voice
Let the naysayers have their word if they wish. The fact is this band smoked, and could sing in live performance like few bands ever have.
Oh man, How happy did she look then especially behind those drums. 2020 and my fave woman singer ever. Such a loss
The thing about Karen’s voice is that it’s pure and effortless. No singing lessons needed.
wow she looks pretty healthy right here... rip sweet angel with a heavenly voice #💖💜💛💚💙
Karen made it look effortless, which I'm sure it wasn't, but she was such a natural performer. Richard and Karen certainly were a great team!!

The finest voice ever both live and recorded. Rip karen
I love the Carpenters I could listen to them all day long.
I also like when they bow to the audience, very classy
Her drumming-looks like she had perfect time like Ginger Baker plus perfect pitch on her vocals. One in 10 billion.
If I had to pick one favorite female singer of all time,Karen would be right at the top, maybe the top.
So perfect singing life
No matter how often I've listened to Karen Carpenter sing (and some of those times with a broken heart), I end up having more empathy for her trials than my own. My thanks to Karen, for the peace of heart she brings us.

Haha. Yes, I was thinking the same about her health. She does seem not to have been affected by the issues that plagued her later. So sad, so incredibly sad. But I think that this was a bit of a rushed co cert for them as the audio was not good. The engineering or sound stage was clearly not the best on a couple of instruments.
Anybody girl who looks like Karen Carpenter today is a beatiful girl.
Karen just looked perfect here. Amazing voice. Rest in peace

She had a sad sounding voice, don't you think? She had a sorrow to her sound. Beautiful!
I did missed her angelic voice! Up until now I still think of Karen was an angel sent from above or probably took human form to give us how and what angels can give us in their heavenly music for us nankind to listen and appreciate!!
