I love it, a lot of us started from the beginning with the panthers 1995, I was 9 years old, and I fell in love with my squad rocking the old school 95’s starter jackets, I have faith in are team, I also feel like we are getting ready to come into a new era of panther football, and hopefully it’s under Dave and Dan, head coach and GM have to gel to build the right team, so let’s go.

Frank wanted CJ and gave Bryce a playbook set for Stroud.. Dave’s going to give Bryce a playbook built AROUND Bryce.. This year I’m calling it and it’ll be a 9+ win season and tbh I’m pretty sure it’ll be a wildcard or better.. No QB is just running around being great cause they can adapt to any system.. It’s what the coach can do around the talent the QB has for them.. Dave’s playmaking and Dans management gonna have Bryce and the Panthers in a new dynasty position watch..

Tepp forced them to get Bryce but it was pretty clear that Frank didn’t like him, he usually even goes for taller QBs.. EXACTLY with CJs build.. The playbook showed it as it wasn’t set around ANYTHING Bryce did well yet it was for a taller guy and Andy showed it when he did play..

he has a chance but the team will prob still be bad. i estimate 5-7 wins this coming season. especially with how tough the north will be. likely lions, vikings, and bears likely to have at least 10wins. packs with at least 8

Lifelong Panthers fan here and I can say that a lot our skill players haven’t had the chance to shine because, at least in my mind, we haven’t seriously built or reinforced our OL since I don’t know when. When Zeke Elliot had an incredible stretch, it was behind an even more incredible OL. You can’t build a house unless you’ve got a good foundation. You can’t have an amazing football team unless you have a solid front. Love the vid and excited for next year. Go Panthers and #KeepPounding

Chau smith wade has a lot of versatility that’s why they drafted him played outside corner can play safety and during the senior bowl he won defensive mvp learned nickel in 3 days and had 2 picks in the senior bowl

The Panthers are a 2-3 year project. All the Panthers need to do is improve from last year. The coach need a plan on bringing in value players, then work the plan. If the Panthers can improve from last year they are moving in the right direction. Don't compare the Panthers to other NFL teams. You are looking across the fence and you see greener grass. Everybody has a BMW, therefore the Panthers need one. Wrong, every team has a different start position. What does the Panthers need to do? It's not copy another team

I would have liked at least one O line pick in the draft but other than that pretty good picks. Seems like they’re making good moves so far this offseason but time will tell.

Tbh we got the talent at O-line (look at 2022), last season we just had crazy injury issues at the position group combined with a nonsense playbook considering the talent we had at the skill positions. This year I fully anticipate us going very run-heavy which matches our personnel much better than whatever tf we were trying last season...

Panthers did a really good job giving Bryce Young help this offseason. Their defense will need work, but their Offense is about to start surprising people. Damien Lewis, Robert Hunt to beef up the Line, then bringing in Diontae. Drafting Legette, your YAC guy, Brooks, highly talented RB on track from his ACL injury, then a steal in Sanders in the 4th!? Just because he ran a 4.7, doesn’t mean he can’t play. Turn on the film. Ickey needs to play better like he did his rookie year. You still have Moton on the right side. He’s solid. Dan Morgan knew what he needed to do and did a great job, being a former Panther Middle Linebacker himself.

lol Sanders is an awful blocker but he’s an amazing receiving TE and that’s what we need. Hopefully his blocking gets better but either way he’s going to be a big target for Bryce

Miles Sanders take is spot on! D'onta Foreman would have brutalized defenses again for 1000+ last year and taken some of the heat off of Young. But instead we go out and get a mediocre back that had the best OL in football to run behind? We kept CMC at least one season too long and BB the same. Doesn't matter how good a player is if you don't have the pieces to utilize them. Panthers really need to learn how to let players go and recoup max comp. Great players want to play in situations where they shine ie. behind really good O/D lines. A lot of really good players don't even want to come to Carolina because they know rhat the pieces in front of them aren't a priority.

I’ll say that this is the most hopefulI have felt in Tepper’s decision making since he took over. Everything on paper looks perfect, from the HC and GM hiring, to the FA pickups, and now the draft. Canales is the kind of guy who will build the playbook based on the player’s talents, which is what Wilkes did with much success as interim in 2022.

To be honest, Canales doing what he did with Tampa and coming over to the Panthers gives me hope. He brings back the Keep Pounding mentality that has been lacking in the locker room for 6 years. His first press conference with them really struck me. I haven't been this excited for the team in a while. This draft was overall pretty good. Could it have been better? Sure, but it's been a solid draft. I'm looking forward to this season. Even if it's a 6 win season, it's still a win in my book. They're rebuilding in the vision of Canales, and I'm here for it.

I’m not going to expect a 8 or 9 win season, because this is Young’s first year in a completely new system so there is going to be growing pains especially the first half of the season, I say if they go out and win 4 or 5 games this year and at least be competitive in the losses then this coming season will be a success

I just looked up that DT from Mississippi State. He's another Derrick Brown. Run stopper. That was another good pick up too because Carolina was if not dead to last stopping the run. So I like that pick up too.

I thought we did well until they traded the 39th pick and let Kool-aid McKinsey get taken by in conference rival New Orleans. I also think they should have picked up another edge rusher to play opposite Clowney. Blew my mind when they grabbed another DT instead of maybe another WR or OT because I just can't see Ikwuono getting any better. Part of the Chuba distain is that he wasn't as refined his first two seasons. He's made me eat crow though because he's gotten better (catching the football with his hands) I think him and JB will be able to work off each other. I liked them drafting XL because you already have two good (or better) route runners. Bring XL in to do what you know he does well and build off that until he's a true #1.

I do believe in Bryce . I’d give the Draft and Free Agency a B+ . But maaaaan the pressure is all on Bryce now. Most teams take years to build around young QBs and the panthers did it in one offseason .

A head coach is only as good as his players and vice versa. The Panthers O-Line was horrible last year and has been for a long time. The Panthers defence was on point last year and has been for several years but when your offence is lack luster, your defence will become frustrated and see their efforts as pointless.

He might not be the speedster but he gets open and gets to where he's supposed to be. X can stretch the field and Johnson taking some attention from the defense likely getting thielen open even more. He might not end up the first option in most plays but he likely gonna lead us in catches again lol

Dionte Johnson, having been a Steelers fan my whole life will provide you with offense. The fact that he is in the field stretches defenses thin because he is so elusive, his route running is stellar, his YAC is borderline superstar ability. DCs across the league plan for him alone.. this is why he’s an asset to offenses. Where it all goes wrong is featuring him as the go to guy. He is unreliable bc he drops many balls. Dionte Dropson is the name that floated the bar scene in Pittsburgh. He will drive you INSANE bc he will run a route and be so fucking wide open only to blow it and then when you want to give him a pass you see him crying about others being the reason like he’s just a problem child WR and that’s why we got rid of him. Remember now Pittsburgh is a WR stack house we know how to find the talent and we so often get rid of it too. That said DJ is the only guy in the NFL remaining that has Antonio Brown on him meaning that was once his influence in the locker room. The work ethic Brown had better than any arguably in history the stats certainly there and Johnson was a promising student of AB but his own mental will be his downfall. Hopefully he has a better career in Carolina. I know I’ll still enjoy watching having moved to NC from the Burgh but if you want my honest opinion he’s not gonna thrive. He’s too much a diva and he was given all the power in Pittsburgh where we teach championship caliber football. If he couldn’t pan out here he’s not gonna bring you championship caliber there.

Completely different teams and cultures, Same with the buccaneers Godwin evans, a rotation of backs , rotation of TEs/ WRs and a great defense We lost more than half of our defensive starters this offseason (top4 def last season)

I’m loving the moves Dan Morgan has made and like our draft, but I’m not drinking the koolaide this offseason after the disappointment of last season.

A 4.3 40 is fast for a big strong WR.

I’m going to be bold with this prediction but Bryce this season will have a better season than CJ stroud. Dave put geno smith who was written off in a position to get a big payday and I think he can do the same with Bryce. The offense play calling last year was so terrible. Run the ball on 1st and 2st and try a screen on 3rd. Now we have a guy they will open up the playbook and allow Bryce young to throw the ball down the field and we got guy that can get open and be reliable. The running game has to be better for Bryce. And Dave will have the running game at least 10th in the league. We have the guys to do it. Ikem has to be better . Starting to think we drafted the worst tackle in that draft. But I have the confidence in this team much more than last years. We will win about 5-6 games and Bryce will be a top QB in the league. Now my question will he be a dak Prescott or a guy like Herbert, Allen, or Mahomes. Is he a hall of famer superbowl capable QB. Idk yet. We get that out of stroud because he went out there and won games. Now we have to wait and see if Bryce could do it

Im optimistic about the draft. Like you said much better than last year considering the hit they took. Saying that, i do not believe it was all frank Reichs fault. I mean he was on to something with CJ stroud. I heard he got over ruled by David Tepper. Its hard to not like Bryce Young. A very smart kid and an obvious athlete in that respect, but coming into the nfl from college its hard not to be concerned about his size or lack thereof. His confidence looked nonexistent last season. Maybe that was because of obvious reasons though. I hope the best for him. Id like to see Bryce grow up this year.

Carolina hater? Xavier Lagette is a fast, big receiver with good hands who has subpar separation and an underdeveloped route tree. It’s weird when people say hater when they have legitimate concerns about a player. I like legette in the 3rd, but in the first round we need a plug and play starter. Yea XL will start but he looks like he needs time to be a real contributor to the team

Got love for most all the comment section but at the same time depressed. I wore my first Panthers shirt to elementary school for about a year before they played their first game. I've never disowned a team in my life. As soon as that clown took over from Wall Street I knew that they were done. And sure enough, All of his decisions are based on finances and investment in his property not Charlotte's or the team's. Factor in the football decisions since he's been there and it just gets astronomically worse. You trade one of the best receivers in the league when we don't have any before a quarterback no one's going to know in 6 years. Now trying to work around that you avoid picking a defense. All I can do is beg for all of you to prepare yourself for a long long hard time for the next decade
