If you're thinking about the most passionate car in movie history, oh have I got the car for you! This is the only one in the world! A 1912 Renault. What made this car famous was the movie Titanic. This was the car that Jack and Rose stumbled upon and then decided to… redecorate the interior. The truth is the car that they found did actually exist on the Titanic and was one of the most expensive pieces on the entire ship, but was listed in the ship's manifest as “one case auto” which means it was probably not assembled and just in a crate. The significance of this model is that there were only two prototypes ever made. One is at the bottom of the ocean, and we have the other one here at Volo Museum. The most unique feature about this prototype is that you can count them 1, 2, 3. It has six fenders which no other car did at the time. This is at the time when Ford was able to start mass producing Model T's at an affordable rate, so the people with money wanted something that showed off a little bit more exclusiveness. Renault succeeded tremendously with elegance with everything being hand-stitched and gold trimmed. Insured for over $1,000,000 this stunning car is hands down the most unique movie car of all of them.
