This guy can really play and seems very humble and well spoken. All in all a great musician and guitar player! I will say though, I truly can't wrap my head around is why he feels the need to push his guitar neck around like that while he is playing. Does he think it's creating some sort of movement in terms of vibrato? You would need to hold the body and push the neck to create any difference in pitch... Is it just for show? Maybe he just feels like he plays more expressively when he waves the neck around... I don't get it! Looks so silly (to me!) sitting there shaking your neck around like that while you're playing, but then again, whatever works haha. Still sounds great!

Exactly. Everyone has their own style, their own idiosyncrasies which make them individuals... it's like questioning why Messi does his boots up differently to other people. Just accept that's what he does and sit back to enjoy the results of their talent. Nothing else matters 🤷🏼‍♂️

  • @metart93

@@LennyJohnson5 Agreed, 100%. But I feel like it would be more like Messi doing *jazz hands* every time he passed the ball, or some other strange, loud, idiosyncratic gesture that had no impact on the game being played and seemed like he could (hypothetically at least) do without. A guitar player having a preference in strings might be more akin to a soccer player lacing up his boots a certain way... Anyway sorry to nit-pick your analogy. I still agree with the point you made! Doesn't take away from the music even if I might find it a bit odd haha.
