We were asked to film the "Bribery Gohan" by the Toyohashi City Fire Department in Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture.
This time, we filmed them making "Pasta with Meat Sauce" and training.
The meal prepared by firefighters is called "firefighting meal. Fire departments in Japan work with the same members for 24 hours at a time. Some days are so hard that they cannot sleep and are dispatched to dangerous fire scenes, etc. Therefore, daily training is very important, as well as communication with fellow members.
Making and eating meals together naturally builds good relationships and leads to good assignments.
Whether we are cooking or eating a meal, when a dispatch order is given, we immediately stop and head out to the field, which makes me realize what a tough job it really is.
In a job where failure is unacceptable, it was a great honor to be able to photograph their greatest pleasure, mealtime, and I felt grateful to the firefighters and other people like them who make our lives safe and secure.

技彩さんの食としての動画としても素晴らしいですが、消防署の皆様の目に見えない有事に対するご尽力が印象に残りました。小中学の授業にも取り入れていただきたいくらい、消防署の皆様の姿〔オフショット〕がかっこよかったです！

警察署は出前とか食堂、自衛隊も食堂だけど、消防署だけは自分たちで作るのですよね。 料理出来て、たくましくて、完璧ですね✨

消防隊は救急も兼ねているので、いつ出勤指令が来るか分からないので、出前取ったり食堂で注文して指令入ったらそれ全キャンセルになったりで宜しくないので融通が効く自炊の方が都合が良いと聞きますからね、余談ですが自衛隊は基本野外訓練中は携帯食や炊き出しを5分以内で完食みたいな感じなので、基地内訓練の場合は健康状態を良好に保ち野外訓練よりかはゆっくり食べれる様にみたいな感じで栄養管理された食事が調理されて提供されている様です。
食事って、激務の合間の癒やしの時間なんだなって思いました。 市民生活を守ってくれてありがとうございます！

Hello from Seattle, Washington USA. Great video! It is nice to see how different fire departments in other counties operate. As I watch it really looks like fire departments in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States operate very similarly in more ways than not. One constant for sure is how important house cooking is!

Was a fire-fighter once, but a careless driver ends my career after hitting me while riding my motorcycle at a junction. Causing me to suffer a fractured knee cap and torned ligament. I couldnt recover fully and lost the strength on my right leg. I couldnt run fast and carry heavy gear like the 30 meter hose and self contain breathing apparatus (draeger brand). The dept had to terminate my service due to the bad injury.

国民の為に命懸けて仕事をしている消防隊員がソーセージ食って何の役にも立たない国会議員は料亭で豪遊かよ。 おかしいだろ。 岸田含めてほっともっとの弁当で充分だわ。
で？俺は"毎日休みなく"ごみ収集してこの社会に貢献してるけどね？ 訓練なんてないよw毎日が実戦。
