I recently ordered one of the discounted belts. Was surprised how much thicker it is to the cheap belts sold in the stores. Even the more expensive belts sold in stores are not as thick as these belts. Hanks belts are worth the cost. The new belts or discounted belts are worth the cost. I definitely will probably order another belt from here one day. These definitely will make great gifts.

The Havana sort of reminds me of the old color that was called "cordova" but not as red. Have two Gunners and love them. Looking at this one as a bit more dressy but still "everyday".

You would love it! A more refined leather and look than the Gunner and slightly less thick. I love it with jeans but it was nice enough to wear to my sons wedding!

Ive done my research and i've settled for the Canyon Belt but i can't decide between the Oak and Havanna. I've seen a "Rich Oak" on other variants but i'm guessing its a little darker than the regular oak. I want something thats nice with jeans and pants. I'll probably get one and then the other later down the road. Thank you for this video. Its exactly what i needed to see.

It's a tough choice! They are both great colors. You can't go wrong with either one!

You may want to make an updated video on the canyon belt, mainly because you have updated it to include the olive green color

Just curious how you get the color of the Havana belt? Most Angus calves are black so the black belts perfect match and you herfold cattle which have a nice red tan but is there some kind of process that you used to get the color just concerned about fading over time. Seems like black would be the way to go thanks

Hey Jeff, When the wet hides come into the tannery they are really a grey color. The Tanning process is where the color is added in. These belts are vegatable tanned so they will patina with use and they age very nicely.

Just wear it! That's one of our nicest belts and the Veg tanned leather just loves to be worn. If you scuff or mar it a bit you can just rub in some paste belt dressing very lightly to even it out a bit. Which would match best with a pair of the iron ranger boots in the amber harness? Havana or oak

How does this belt hold up to daily conceal carry outside waistband use with compact pistol.

We don't recommend this one for regualr carry use. It will hold up for occasional use of lighter firearms.

Just curious if the stitching is purely cosmetic or is functional (holding anything together) too?

On this belt it is cosmetic for looks. This is solid one-piece English Bridle leather. Other belts are two-layer and the stitching is functional. Thanks!
