yeah he actually looked pretty good and didnt make any mistakes just played some good ol hockey and then eventually now maybe with the best pickpocket himself Lindholm on the pp he might get a goal or 2, i know this does not relate to what this comment is about but i just want to say it to someone but i was in constant distress for Hughes this whole game he was getting absolutely targeted by Nashville and honestly Nashville were kinda dicks this game just trying to ingure Hughes and then desmith luckily we got zaddy on the team and he will not take that lightly (ps. my thoughts on my on why Nashville played more physical is because we were just more physical than them last 2 games and they didnt like it)

I had no doubts that Desmith is good, its just that hes always been a backup goalie. We've seen him with the increased workload and I hope he paces himself while Demko is out. Defence felt good though. Desmith's rebound control is kinda of iffy but with a combination of Preds not capitalizing on chances and Canucks defense zone play collapsing in a bit closer now, think we can at least beat Nashville.

I would have liked to have seen some major retribution by Zadorov or Joshua on Josi for the constant harassment of Hughes. A few hard hits are to be expected through a game but Hughes was really taken advantage of. Zadorov’s clean hit was a good start for sure, but much more of this needed. It makes me pine for the Gino Odjiick days. Great summary Dean and now my go to watch after a game !! Thanks

32 blocked shots in game two. Number of shots on goal doesn't matter, if you can make them count, and keep the puck out of your own goal. Certainly the way to play against a team that was carrying the play. Preds will be shaking there heads, and trying to figure out the DeSmith wall. Agree can't play every game like this. Defending so much has got to be tiring, more so that playing in the offensive zone. Every game this series has been a low shot total for both teams.

12 shots on goal, and two PP goals is the summery of this game. Boring game, and Canucks will not get a cup playing like this, but things might change against other teams, I still think they can win against Nashville, but they can't let their guard down.

Just got home from the game...the Preds just did the most quintessentially Preds thing to do...have all the momentum after stealing a win out of Vancouver, an opportunity against yet another backup netminder in a playoff series, throw five catfish and go 0-5 on the PP alla 2019 fashion, and then just giftwrap a win for their opponent without being a threat all night while making DeSmith look like a Vezina-caliber netminder. Same 💩 different year. This is why the league doesn't take you seriously, Preds. Going in again on Sunday...next time you all wanna jerk us around with a lackadaisical, half-assed effort and waste our time, why don't you stay in the locker room or go home and do that with a moist towel before you come back into Bridgestone Arena and embarrass yourselves on home ice.
