Synopsis: After the adoption of our first dog, Dublin, a female Pittie Great Dane, our unexpected journey begins! Shaken by a social media post, we head from our home in Los Angeles, California to Georgia. We visit The Laurens County Humane Society in Dublin, Georgia where SAVE THE 200 had been the talk of the town. The shelter was over capacity by 200 dogs and the department of agriculture gave them 30 days to home those dogs and get down to capacity or start euthanizing. We find our new family member Huckleberry among the 200, and the journey leads us to a reality we could not ignore. Similar scenarios are prevalent all over this country’s shelters. We could not pretend not to learn this. We had to take action. This is when our true mission was born. We were determined to find out who is saving and safely adopting all these homeless dogs.
What begins as an exploration into the over-population of homeless dogs in the United States, becomes a deep dive into the expansive and disturbing problems regarding the treatment of “man’s best friend”. Our cross country journey exposes the rampant neglect of dogs, and the profit culture that supports it, while discovering the everyday heroes who work tirelessly to improve the canine condition and change human lives for the better.
Each episode of this documentary series is a journey with a trustworthy 501c3 dog rescue organization or advocacy group based in the United Sates. We highlight the why, where & how to adopt or help a canine family member. We show you the outcome of the positive difference that these organizations are making around the country. Our advocacy extends beyond the documentary and into our podcast by the same name (The Canine Condition Podcast). We are boots on the ground in action. There are many ways to help solve the problem of overpopulation, abandonment and euthanasia of innocent, homeless dogs in the United States. Embark on this docu-series journey with us and lets protect our canine companions together.
You can now also support the national non-profit chapter of this brand by going to The Canine Condition Foundation 501c3 website at www.thecaninecondition.org
This documentary series will highlight the amazing, grass-roots work that people are doing to save and improve the lives of dogs in need all over this country. Through their stories and actions, we will show you what change looks like and what the sheer power of will and desire - not just money - can achieve. Throughout the season you see us take part in the actions that are saving dog lives. We volunteer, donate, foster, transport and advocate for new legislation. Every episode will leave the viewer feeling hopeful, inspired, educated and empowered. This is how we affect positive change and create the tipping point in our society: one story at a time.

Thank you for the documentary because people need to see, hear, feel and know what's going on here. This is such a serious issue that needs immediate attention by having laws that protect animals, law's , laws, laws!! We need to be responsible by watching over these animals! All of them! Any animal!
