The Cancelled Swamp Thing TV Series - Caravan Of Garbage
Ойын-сауық
Swamp Thing 2019 follows Abby Arcane as she investigates what seems to be a deadly swamp-born virus in a small town in Louisiana and it's probably cancelled forever. Swamp Thing 1982 is considered a cult classic but also it's bad. Let's review, compare and contrast shall we?

Swamp Thing was awesome and what crushed me even more was that they were gonna set up a Justice League Dark show which if you don’t know is a team of magic based heroes like John Constantine, Zatanna, Deadman and Etrigan the Demon. Also Swamp Thing could have led to a Constantine show with Matt Ryan on DC universe I loved the Constantine show that was cancelled and it could have been amazing on DC Universe cause they can go all out on the gore and horror elements.

It was less a DC thing than it was more of a WB thing....and they could have moved production to another state like Ga (which has it's own swamp, btw), so that whole "they changed the law" thing makes little to no sense. WB is notorious for having some of the most clueless and apathetic execs in the world, so this move doesn't surprise me at all. Pisses me off, but doesn't surprise me.
Looking back on it now, the cancelling of Swamp Thing was a large sign of things to come for Warner's financial situation. Go figure, Swamp Thing being way more important then he is given credit for. Classic.
New show had Blue Devil in it...... so excited for that.... oh wait, only 1 more episode left and we've only got an off camera action scene from him so far.... :"o(
Swamp Thing has a soul full of poetry, he’s beautiful on the inside. Too bad DC couldn’t recognize that.
I love that James' go to for Ray Wise is Reaper. My brother and I think of him as the devil from Reaper, too. 50 year career, full of classic movies and Tv shows, and we just remember him from a show that barely lasted a season and a half.

As cheesy as swamp thing 82 was, we loved it. There's just something great about it. Probably because it was one of those movies run on tv forever, when hbo wasn't even a 24hour channel yet. It only came on at like 5pm. But we were thrilled to have comic book movies.

"That man being Ray Wise -" OH MY GOD, HE'S EVERYWHERE. This is almost as great as the time he was in a Star Trek episode. (Also, in that episode, he gets involved for a search for an Enterprise crewmember named Palmer, it's great.)
Aww I remember Adrienne Barboobs! She was a mainstay of bad horror in the early 80s. I watched the Swamp Thing movie a bunch with friends back then. No internet, few parents who even owned a VCR and we weren’t old enough to drive so ... yeah. I regret nothing/everything.
I was excited to see the main actress in another T.V show. Most people know her from Teen Wolf, her name is Crystal Reed.

I usually forget the plot, but I remember every now and again. Feed me ladybugs, steam my pants, fold my pipecleaners, name my ants.

I would've liked to have seen a deadman show. It could be a murder mystery, except with the victim, but he can't remember how he died, so he goes searching, meanwhile spirits are chasing him. You could even have a cameo from ragman, as he's also tied with spirits.
