We drafted #5, got the 2nd best player in the draft and filled a massive need for elite offensive talent on a 6'0.5/192 frame. It's just awesome for the organization and the fans. Also great job on these videos Coach.

Stats are not updated; he is 6'1" Now it's just about the training.

Am I the only one that thinks that Demidov has the potential to be better than Macklin Celebrini? Demidov has downsides but his downsides are things he can learn and get better at such as his skating. But the things you can't teach? He has it all.

Offensively yes he has the potential to be the best offensive player from that draft class, But Celebrini does have a better shot all around, Celebrini is a little better defensively really isn’t much of a difference, Celebrini is a better passer in my opinion not by much but still better… Celebrini also plays down the middle he’s a natural center… I think we will look at Celebrini and Demidov just like how people think of Makar/Pettersson, Matthews/Tkachuk, MacKinnon/Barkov Etc all these players were arguably the best player from their respective draft classes and are better players in their own ways… I think any fan will say I would take Demidov on my team just as much as I would take Celebrini on my team… I think Celebrini will be better in his own ways and Demidov will be better in his own ways there really isn’t much of a difference between them when it comes to potential which is very exciting for the Habs, Demidov is just more flashy… Another Example Draisaitl is an AMAZING player but never really lifts you off your seat, McDavid is an amazing player that lifts you off your seat, Both are still top top top tier players…

I think he has the highest offensive celling in the 2024 draft class. You look at how much talent he has. He reminds me of Kaprizov so much. He has a great shot. Fantastic Hockey IQ. Great puck handles/skills. Great vision. Good skating. Hes gonna be the guy scoring Michigans. Highlight reel goals. PP one tees. Coast to coast through all the defenders. I see him becoming a consisent 35+ goal scorer every season along with 40+ assists every season. In his prime. I espext him to score 45+ goals every season and 65+ Assists. Its a high bar. But when someone has so many tools offensively and the weekness is something hes good at. You know hes gonna be Fantastic. I get Patrick Kane vibes.

Imagine Hutson and Demidov just dancing around the offensive zone with Suzuki as bumper during a powerplay lmfao It's going to be the most frustrating thing to defend against

I find it baffling people think Cellebrini is easily the best because he is not Demidov could end up being the best player in the draft. The end results will dpend on team surrounding players coach ice time etc etc. One thing that stands out with Demidov he is that he keeps his head up l,ooking for his pass or shot.A lot of players simply do not aim their shots and why they never score. He does have a noticeable stance when he carries the puck he tends to stop skating and make himself stiff but it has it's advantages he is better at protecting the puck that way.

this guy has crazy footwork he could be the real deal 🙂

I'm going to Canadian Tire to buy my folding chair for the Stanley Cup parade.

When my friend goaltend a game his mantra is'' i'mma let you a place to shoot like Im not paying attention that there is a empty space but im doing it on purpose thus, It wil give you false confidence and that's how I'm going to get you''. Demidov , Hutson and Dach is all about that. Giving others false confidence. Joshua Roy is becoming more and more like that too. our future is very bright.

That's my only concern but, he's so smart, he'll adjust perfectly to the tempo of the game in the NHL easily, will be three seconds ahead of everyone in this league for making plays. Just imagining with Lane....it will be insane!

I seriously dont know what combination would be best. Cole got a sick shot so pairing him with demidov and dach for the play making is probably a great idea but at the same time suzuki slaf need an elite shooter with them so taking away cole is rough. Maybe just put him with dach and roy to begin?
