The one forging the Weapon is a Demigod called Ornn. The Brother of the other Demigod Volibear, the silhouette you saw after the Ursine roaring with lightnings in the clouds. Lorewise, Ornn didnt forge a weapons in decades. He is preparing for war... Love it :D

@@KarmaxR the lore itself calls them demigods. I'm not sure why either, but there has to be a reason. I guess, like Aatrox says, true gods are more powerful than the Freljordian Demigods?

Epic battles isn't enough to impress anymore, the attention to fine details like the realism in this video. Thier complex facial expression, even the damn dirt and soot on their hair and body. Man this is 10/10. It's like Awaken 2.0 in terms of realism.

One fun interesting thing to add. The Call is animated by Unit Image (another french animation studio, like Fortiche). They worked on 2 episodes of Love, Death + Robots (Beyond the Aquila Rift & Snow in the Desert), some Legends of Runeterra Trailers (Breathe, Call of the Mountain, Empires of the Ascended)

@@DeanBarryStuff There very much is. The French animation scene has always been one of the Major places for animation. Alot of work comes out of there that one wouldn't realize. And it's always at least a bit quirky compared to everyone else's.

Here's the part where i want another series from league that deals with the infighting in the Freljord. Arcane is great, but god dang would i kill for that setting to be given the Arcane treatment.

My theory is that theyre working with different studios in secret on series separate from arcane but set in the same universe - probably different animation styles but same attention to detail and storytelling Freljord, shurima, noxus, demacia, ionia and bilgewater are all potential candidates for these kind of series

@@rajder656 yeah but there would for sure be a prologue episode / arc to build up the main character(s) Or he could come back in season 2, etc But youre right, they would definitely play on the demacian conflict, i didnt think about that

It is pronounced like "Vi" from Arcane, only with a z at the front. The german "ei" is the same sound as the english "i".

Then may I suggest that you go look at Necrit's videos as he is the Loremaster with amazing explanation videos that tell exactly the hows, whys, whens and whos.

Targon. it looks as if there's something wrong with Aurelion Sol and this year's events will be Void-centric. I absolutely can't wait.

He took pleasure in the confusion and desperation he sensed from the Aspects. As he was forced to leave Runeterra, Aurelion Sol was content in knowing that the Aspects were afraid of what he might do next.' this might be him firing the comet, as even Leona seemed surprised and it's heavily implied in the lore that Aurelion and Atreaus will meet, plus the former aspect of war held the reins to Aurelion's crown. Also the latest part of Aurelion's lore states that he is currently (as in the current moment in the timeline) heading towards Runeterra to tip the scales of the struggle of power in Targon, in his favor, so he can free himself. edit: the stars arent aimed exclussively at panth, we can see them descending around the Moutain on everything.

And today, he forges a sword. That's a declaration of war from a god. They all have lost their war but they don't give up.

For me, Blizzard is at the top by far with it's animations. Not a Blizzard fanboy and I don't even know what happens in their animations (don't/didn't play Overwatch or World of Warcraft), but they are on a different level. The Call managed to close a gap that was quite wide previously and is getting closer and closer, but just to illustrate how insane Blizzards animation were, the old animation from 2010 are quality wise often better than the productions released nowadays, even from Riot (not bashing them, Riot is top tier, just that Blizzard has been the crown holder for a reason). Btw, here is an example: kzread.info/dash/bejne/dHemmdttg6_Ok84.html&ab_channel=WorldofWarcraft it can't keep up with resolution, but that's also all that it's missing. The detail, precision, animations and what not in these from 12! years ago is absolutely insane. That's more than a decade, just in case 2010 still feels like 2-3 years ago for some (like me). I hope Riot continues their path and take that crown as theirs, given how much they improved. It's really astonishing that they have been doing the animation side for so long, even when they were relatively small.

Idk I feel like The Call is pretty much on par with the latest Blizzard animations. At least I couldn't find much of a quality difference compared to some Shadowlands cinematics I watched. Could you recommend a specific Blizzard trailer/cinematic that shows the most cutting edge animation currently available for comparison?

If I can, I'd recommend you check out the "Awaken" and "Warriors" cinematics if you haven't yet. "A New Dawn" is another great one as well. As for the game, I don't blame you mate- it's certainly not for everyone heh What I would definitely suggest though, since you clearly like the characte3rs and the world, would be to check out the league card game, Legends of Runeterra. It's got a lot more of the characters and regions from the show/world, without the stress of league. Hope you like it if you decide to check it out.

I think the Song "The Call" is more for Pantheon & Kai'sa & Taliyah than Sejuani. If you listen to lyrics and what's going on the song is telling you that Taliyah/Pantheon are the beat & the Broken & Sejuani/Kai'sa are the Lost & Forsaken. Taliyah is Broken likely the ruins of her home in the desert. Pantheon is the Beaten after his gets dropped of mount Targon, Sejuani is lost & Kai'sa is Forsaken soon to also be lost back in the void. Check the words when Taliyah & Kai'sa are standing on the edge of the hole that opened up... Centered is Taliyah "For the beat & the broken" Centered on Kai'sa "For the Lost & forsaken" Then in Taliyah's eyes & face you can tell what's going to happen when she looks over & Kai'sa as Rek Sai breaks the surface...
